- are currently recruiting for the full time summer position of Urban
Geography Research Assistant.

; C, W: r* e  dSalary to be paid will be $15.00 per hour for 30 hours per week.

" g: i. v8 n; O$ T  R9 IThis position is for 10 weeks total.

% a# e* g* Z5 x' ~! rAs an urban geography research assistant, you will be working on a
) f: }7 A( t, {$ z1 O) O4 Ifunded project to examine changes in access to healthy food in Edmonton
between 1970 and present. Duties include searching electronic databases,
undertaking land title searches, manipulating databases and spreadsheets
6 v' X3 j( ^3 ?and GIS analysis and mapping.
) ^& b* r' a/ p2 H3 K
Qualifications include an interest in urban geography, secondary
) v! y& e. @9 M: Qliterature search proficiency, general research experience and GIS
) l6 G% h. L9 r- Q* Wskills.
