Hours per week will be 20 - 30 - 20 during the first few weeks, then 30) \( s b" i+ B0 U- J. F6 Z
- 35 per week during the busy period. There may be an opportunity for

Duties include: preparing for programs by working with current staff at! ]- U/ \# b' x0 n1 g
CIBS to secure and schedule various program requirements (off-campus
! Y1 D4 n* ~6 _3 |( Y1 ?venues, tour agents, goods and services, program materials and supplies,
) T; P7 ]3 _3 g+ i C* e' @7 Zetc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for2 O# \1 M; z$ W2 r
participants, assisting to orient participants to the University and
& o9 `* q) [: A7 u, htheir program on their arrival, and trouble-shooting for them during' n7 I H4 K' A1 j
their program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions,
) W# P2 Y: V9 C6 V& B2 i4 passisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking
2 p+ u$ b7 M3 x* T, f' n/ M6 Vvenue at end of session; traveling as guide with groups on in-city
" V+ ~7 x; E0 b; P4 Joutings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city
9 L" Z% X' b5 J0 texcursions (does not involve driving or overnight week night
* Y9 o0 t( H6 z7 i6 f' Eexcursions); interpreting (non-technical exchanges) at meetings or
+ U* Q4 d+ s6 f! }2 k" ]1 xfunctions; translating, revising or drafting program-related documents
! B e$ ~% \" Ssuch as schedules, itineraries, notices, correspondence, PowerPoint- j# R2 I/ H8 X$ g' N ^4 R/ Q
presentations, program binders, evaluation forms, etc.

Qualifications include: senior undergrad student; coursework in" m7 D( J" D/ l
Commerce, Education or Economics preferred, ability to communicate6 I6 R4 ?5 a. d7 M5 V5 s+ o1 B
fluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,
6 ?( X g) Z& b1 Idemonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake
w- M: O) Z% w" h+ D" ca variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those
* l8 P0 ]- k" V8 {3 g- N) N9 l. `of co-workers, excellent interpersonal organization and time-management& N4 }2 E% }" H- s" H3 X9 t' \% t
skills; accuracy to detail; working knowledge of MS applications (Word,. y) r" N' O7 w& i
Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook); administrative experience an asset,8 u! v6 P O. L$ {) Q0 ?! t2 l, }
