the student to stay on a casual basis (10 - 20 hours per week) once the

Duties include: preparing for programs by working with current staff at. P- z% Q) `. r6 {: l8 h4 q2 o
CIBS to secure and schedule various program requirements (off-campus! y) e k9 ~7 ]$ X4 f* E2 G% n9 B
venues, tour agents, goods and services, program materials and supplies,8 h% H+ {, b0 t: w O
etc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for
* p% a+ t& f O. Y0 o8 P6 S1 sparticipants, assisting to orient participants to the University and
: s0 l& @$ J4 N% D/ e; k$ _9 Ftheir program on their arrival, and trouble-shooting for them during8 A, g5 V" h- h) q
their program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions,
9 }( L$ t w( h) ~. A$ @assisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking
, R; \4 |* i$ j, ^: c' cvenue at end of session; traveling as guide with groups on in-city" P1 y0 r0 v2 }- m W! {2 W3 @+ |
outings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city+ C" V, ?0 `: A; r% _" v R
excursions (does not involve driving or overnight week night

Commerce, Education or Economics preferred, ability to communicate3 h: M" L3 X9 n. H4 {- ? B3 {
fluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,4 J: B6 o6 _( w! f; D, p% j
demonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake6 H+ x' n+ _" N$ C% ?7 a
a variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those8 f. t7 ^3 N4 n3 D& D. K( i
