Salary to be paid will be $15.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

& ]- Y. D' {; sDuties include: working closely with graduate students and research
- {$ [( O- V1 i1 \( y4 etechnicians, the candidate will work on the synthesis of intermediates
( l, Z3 W; v! K0 L! t5 u+ d' {for use in chemical and biochemical research. Particular duties will
include carrying out chemical and/or enzymatic reactions and purifying
compounds by chromatography.

Qualifications include successful completion of courses in organic
- b; x9 W: G: Q7 x8 v5 hChemistry (Chemistry 263 or equivalent) and ideally biochemistry and
analytical chemistry; familiarity with basic biology and chromatographic
separations important. Attention to detail and ability to work as part
' h+ [* i% o2 I7 V0 \0 p* iof a team essential.
This position will provide the candidate with experience in biochemical
and chemical research and would be ideal for students who ultimately
0 z$ f6 k' g+ U' R6 s7 ?3 Ihope to work in these areas.
