9195.  

Salary to be paid will be $15.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Duties include: working closely with graduate students and research
7 v: u5 I! G, a2 }technicians, the candidate will work on the synthesis of intermediates
" w$ M5 [- y1 i) ^7 V0 R6 gfor use in chemical and biochemical research. Particular duties will
" i3 h0 }3 u$ jinclude carrying out chemical and/or enzymatic reactions and purifying
- a% S+ _7 }" b2 rcompounds by chromatography.

Qualifications include successful completion of courses in organic
8 N2 o  E1 O# ]; k! k$ UChemistry (Chemistry 263 or equivalent) and ideally biochemistry and
+ L1 a. [  G: j" U% Aanalytical chemistry; familiarity with basic biology and chromatographic
separations important. Attention to detail and ability to work as part
; z% x  x8 a( V, \) ]of a team essential.

2 F; S9 N/ S  `* ^# L) E2 n* mand chemical research and would be ideal for students who ultimately
