Salary to be paid will be $15.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Duties include: working closely with graduate students and research
; l& t9 V. [- @8 Y0 H% V1 L8 {technicians, the candidate will work on the synthesis of intermediates
for use in chemical and biochemical research. Particular duties will
include carrying out chemical and/or enzymatic reactions and purifying
compounds by chromatography.

" ]8 v; t: g/ X# j* fQualifications include successful completion of courses in organic
6 ~# e3 j* R6 N$ [2 yChemistry (Chemistry 263 or equivalent) and ideally biochemistry and
+ }1 L* D) {4 b$ |& Z! C9 |! _9 Ganalytical chemistry; familiarity with basic biology and chromatographic
separations important. Attention to detail and ability to work as part
5 o' Z/ Y$ i/ p. Z% p9 z) n( ]+ Oof a team essential.

and chemical research and would be ideal for students who ultimately
