The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.& w I% T. k7 g T8 `3 w8 f: A

Loads and unloads non-ferrous material
4 I+ L! }4 g6 Q" N C+ x2 h! R3 ZMust be able to work safely at all times# G1 A2 B4 y$ e- h7 x
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently

Observes and reports any safety issues

Understand and be able to grade all non-ferrous material properly

Experience stripping equipment and/or with manual material sorting
% O8 h- F5 o; h0 y2 G! QKnowledge of non-ferrous processing
$ Y1 C- k# N, Z4 q; iHigh school diploma (Or GED)
' {: p* E8 P0 g/ P4 P; IWell-articulated and assertive$ @* y- B9 x' n
Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization
) Z6 U N" r+ ~# T1 m( dAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
