Job Summary:
2 c' Z0 {& I+ d2 [* LThe Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.

Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials" l" @+ d' T% ]& H3 x5 j. k' j
Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials
2 T% z+ N* }+ n: X ^Loads and unloads non-ferrous material k9 a0 y2 N* m: d5 O4 t
Must be able to work safely at all times. ?' Q, U& V' C
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently
3 e: _3 {! H5 r+ N1 `1 m' dPerforms routine housekeeping.
1 W4 \4 U' ~+ k$ j$ ]6 {2 FObserves and reports any safety issues2 q' U, |1 q# W

Metal recycling industry experience is an asset

High school diploma (Or GED)) i. r m: {, b
Well-articulated and assertive7 k( W: A2 Y1 u% M
Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization
