The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.+ }6 m) Y6 F3 H" l: W. O1 r

Monday – Friday 11 am-7 pm

Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials
2 u6 @ E" R9 P) w3 \% g! \" GInspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials5 Y- ^9 E- {1 M9 E* P
Loads and unloads non-ferrous material
! l( S% I9 s# V5 S" _5 S% }' OMust be able to work safely at all times
) l- |. i$ t: b/ q' ZBe able to effectively perform tasks independently4 o! v* P( i$ m; j" n
Performs routine housekeeping.4 b, f$ |: G6 v
Observes and reports any safety issues

Understand and be able to grade all non-ferrous material properly
1 N" |8 i3 J/ o$ r: SMetal recycling industry experience is an asset
% t+ W# t. A* g- N" KExperience stripping equipment and/or with manual material sorting
2 e4 N) d% s1 \. CKnowledge of non-ferrous processing
5 y6 M, \3 I1 i+ nHigh school diploma (Or GED)1 A, G# t; c0 }+ Y+ \2 N( L
Well-articulated and assertive7 d$ n! S5 F: {: n" T/ R n1 e3 G$ o
Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization

Ability to write simple correspondence
