A few minutes ago, the Consulate General of P. R.
" t; y' s$ n1 Q; ~& TChina in New York called CSSAP mentioning the possible
& P* a# c; s3 \+ A! t' mnegative effects of the recent Virginia Tech shooting
! e3 V+ a( o/ t* ]/ ktragedy on Asian students, which include Chinese
2 i3 f& }# C  ~3 v, U6 ^: hstudents. Although the gunman has been currently
identified as a student originally from South Korea ,
it is recommended that Chinese students at UPenn and
/ l0 C: N( {2 k0 u' U" j( j# ein Philadelphia can also pay some more attention to
safety issues in the near future. Rumor reporting that
the shooter is Chinese should be stopped。
