# b, n5 _' K" D# Hweekend hours.3 N' f# a: S& G& U/ V. }' j" Z/ u
You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of the Research Data Centre (RDC) computer. B2 m, `! ^& ?. ]1 R, E0 R
lab located on the University of Alberta campus as well as providing administrative support for the
# ]0 V- j# b, x T& {+ Ccentre.
5 b9 @3 v5 I6 @7 Y- eThese responsibilities include:# l# W7 N) G* k7 L0 O% N- p2 L
-Maintain the integrity of the security systems in the RDC.
( D6 j; n0 M7 H-Provide basic support to clients on operating Window XP.
! V1 E" v$ [7 V9 p-Provide general office administration support, such as filing, upgrading software and
! N& p9 v9 _8 K) n; grenewing licenses, communicating with various university departments with respect to 0 H# H9 ]* p$ M! D" e
facilities’ maintenance, etc.
% v9 Q) {# U% G) A+ M& o-Conduct other office related tasks, such as Internet documents search, backup of electronic

Statement of Qualifications

& P7 V# s4 r& B$ Q% O-Successful completion of Bachelor degree in administration, business, computer sciences, ' r3 r0 [3 w/ n
education, economics, sociology, statistics or related discipline; or an acceptable combination
+ T2 O' u% J8 J1 Q. Xof education, training and /or experience.

6 h0 r: h0 ^3 o$ C( G: y6 m( K-General knowledge of the Microsoft Window operating system.1 |- O0 Q0 c$ b' E- W
-Extensive experience in using Microsoft Window office application software including Word2 c9 Y6 l1 m. L! j9 u, K/ Q8 q
and Excel.
& K1 P, n1 c- k7 R6 w6 Q-Experience using and updating an information database.
