CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

Key Job Duties

6 Z7 R. z5 P9 k2 O8 ~7 i) h: m# H· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork

' f8 f* e2 V# M0 T· Connecting and disconnecting trailers
' J6 I, q1 g/ y1 c
. g: q; A! L; j( J9 A# h% O0 D· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections
$ T+ a9 {9 u6 J% ^4 C" O
· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

* ~/ k+ M! o9 ]# q) e· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s

· Operate manual and automatic shifts
+ ^4 E# E# D& }: i
9 P) g, }' U& |8 j" d  `& |· Secure loads safely
. P; a7 f8 T/ k/ K
0 E# h# n3 k; N6 _, R8 v· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner
Qualifications and Training Requirements
3 l5 N2 ~) l7 Z
· Minimum 3 years experience

& z5 {6 u+ f- b, P! o& f· Valid Class 1 license
. F) I' u2 d, S4 F' U/ e! @( D
· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

- M% x9 q  Z1 z4 h! t6 W* n+ ?7 ^· Load securement certification
1 \+ I6 _( \! [+ M' n
· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

· Excellent organizational and time management skills

! |5 v+ H/ h, S2 S% W/ h& L  r+ j· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation
