CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

Key Job Duties

· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork
$ A# x  ?4 u+ `( }' I
· Connecting and disconnecting trailers

( \9 F- H0 d; Y9 L, Y0 K· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections

: _4 D6 c* A0 n% u# i· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

+ x) A/ U9 \) I% C( F! Y+ Q· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s

· Secure loads safely

  C, |9 R) M( X· Minimum 3 years experience

) q- J7 q8 i6 f/ ?3 C& a, F- r6 C# J· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

· Load securement certification

· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

& M' v$ U* H* U· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

· Ability to make runs to town or day runs to Fort Mac
