CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

0 o7 z. S  M- ~# x· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork

) V0 X8 b* X4 ?' n, l· Connecting and disconnecting trailers
) O* }0 V* ?6 J3 s
· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections

6 H4 o) M  c+ z( y+ z" ~  d  p9 H· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order
. f% f7 v7 t+ l" l
, R% N$ i7 W4 p( ~$ Z· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s
& W. ?; Y/ S# Y* ~0 D
· Operate manual and automatic shifts

· Secure loads safely

Qualifications and Training Requirements
2 h, a% t1 T5 L; |4 M5 h& [
· Minimum 3 years experience

6 M( g) E7 q9 W+ ~7 `6 O- p· Valid Class 1 license

· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

! G$ L" a7 ]6 ]6 ^4 i- J) ]( d' _, L· Load securement certification
0 O5 H$ g- f" P- D
( u2 t4 ?$ G! h, t, I· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

· Excellent organizational and time management skills

· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

, h) O3 M% v0 V( J! D0 m" D· Working in this industry requires patience and respect; sometimes the job takes longer than we would like but always being tolerant is paramount.

· Oversized loads experience is considered an asset
