CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

Key Job Duties

· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork

/ o9 J- Y, W+ j+ @9 Y: ]; o* Q· Connecting and disconnecting trailers

· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections

' o4 ^$ n3 f8 _1 @, ~. W! B· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s
* ^3 v( [7 f. a7 c; @/ a/ v$ I6 {
· Operate manual and automatic shifts

% x, J! f; N1 C! _& L4 T· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner

· Minimum 3 years experience

· Valid Class 1 license

9 g. D& X6 q8 ?0 a4 H4 ^* v5 s7 S· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

& v; v" F( Y" l0 J; @* y· Load securement certification

# c0 G, R& a7 b3 Z% y0 B# l+ z! U· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

· Excellent organizational and time management skills

· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

; d: t! ?# T+ F) i; b5 V% ^· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

· Working in this industry requires patience and respect; sometimes the job takes longer than we would like but always being tolerant is paramount.

· Ability to make runs to town or day runs to Fort Mac
