Class 1 Driver Needed

CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork

· Connecting and disconnecting trailers
. C  B( Q4 |: k0 }6 I. u$ [
· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections

· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s

· Operate manual and automatic shifts

- ^( P# J& @5 R# w, ^$ E, [· Secure loads safely

' T6 P$ ^/ u; W+ t) \* g  Z· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner
Qualifications and Training Requirements

1 ]  `. h8 C3 W+ [% U· Minimum 3 years experience

( k& P- g+ C; V, F! p+ w· Valid Class 1 license

: i/ M* X* w7 f) e7 \0 ~5 ~% T· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

· Load securement certification
+ O( g7 \7 W2 h  m
· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

· Excellent organizational and time management skills

  {( |7 N( {' S( v7 o· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

. s/ [; ^1 T4 k6 x* i· Working in this industry requires patience and respect; sometimes the job takes longer than we would like but always being tolerant is paramount.

· Oversized loads experience is considered an asset
