EDMONTON — Southgate Centre today began a $108 million expansion to accommodate more than 30 new retailers and restaurants. w3 e+ U4 j* m. U0 K7 U+ Z

The two-year project, facing 111th Street, will add 126,000 square feet of leasable space on the ground floor — and two levels of parking above.# U" ~, T% C) ^' m0 C
( f7 E0 c7 a" w* d, {/ x“Part of the redevelopment will include enhanced site lighting and closed-circuit TV security systems monitored 24 hours a day, seven days a week,” said Southgate general manager Paul Fairbridge.
