CAC recycling is a metal recycling facility that provides on and off site processing to oil field and local businesses. We are currently seeking a self-motivated individual to fill our open  Accountant within our growing team.

Responsibilities:
% _* A  X; l  V$ Q•        Manage all accounting transactions
•        Publish financial statements in time
3 m( k' R5 o& P$ l) o0 U! Y•        Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
, Q5 E4 B& Z" J/ s•        Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
/ R" g$ e- S0 O" J, I8 v; I, L•        Ensure timely bank payments
4 j1 T! I* S  H  W: q6 t•        Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
! U" F2 i: u$ y- y; a( a4 E& Y2 E•        Maintain accounting system, documents, and records of the organization.
•        Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
& b& R9 D$ L5 z2 m8 x2 R' P: u•        Comply with financial policies and regulations
•       Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Accountant Requirements:

( K5 ?0 {( X0 X3 C- v$ \•        bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (Essential).
•        Minimum 5 years of Accounting work experience (Essential)
•        2 years of Cost Accounting work experience. (Asset)
: [5 H% L- D8 g; B% I•        Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
•        Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
•        Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
•        Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
1 A  P; k0 D3 g. |•        Excellent report-writing, communication, and IT skills as an Asset.
