$ k7 R9 k- x. mThis position is an important role in the company where the successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing of all required products and services.

The procurement officer is responsible for:
4 l/ ^7 O) V6 x* `-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
& X4 E$ K8 Q: b0 R$ q0 q3 l-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
  Z1 I! l4 A* p-        Building and managing supplier relationships
-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses

( p/ ^4 \5 B9 v+ s1 s' JRequirements:
- Sound research skills
( t5 @* t7 B0 o3 ~- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
: V1 j* Y7 t0 n" b- Strong organization and time management skills
- Friendly and outgoing personality
: i# F  y& ?" ~, ^/ S/ T9 T% c, d- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
9 S* `3 j1 m: M( {$ }- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
