4 medium potatoes cut into about 2 to 4 pieces (peel or unpeeled, based on your taste)

3 or 4 table spoon butter or margarine+ i9 |; j- ]* z8 ^" I' v' s
A little salt: g! t0 X4 D. `" R9 b f
If you like you can use more ingredients such as bacon, onion/green onion/chives, ransh salad dressing or sour cream

Place potatoes and salt into a large pot filled with enough water to cover the potatoes.

Drain the water, mix in butter and mash/beat with mixer.
