As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:9 j% U3 B% c2 I

- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved. / X% z! R& a1 B: Y3 j' |
- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants. 0 P* p( P. n' H& ]& S) G% f7 o9 v
- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators.
+ U8 }* o7 h2 x0 H* a- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures.

- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction). % N- T$ X! x z A* X$ F* K

Experience and Education Requirements" m6 [. h! O9 g
9 J( w6 P5 }1 [$ B3 |/ s; L
- Previous supervisory experience
- n% k& x7 P2 F& B" _- f- Strong leadership skills
! A! F* @3 M" Q+ t9 Y; `- A minimum of grade 12 diploma % X. c3 \* {) ]# y+ e0 E
- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills : g3 |) O9 h, R( p: W
- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations ) N( a& N. E7 p2 |8 S
- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.
