As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:3 H8 c% T' _+ B. `
8 o( f9 A' U) z. D5 x5 C- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved.
9 J9 J6 a3 {) o# S* ]- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants. 4 E# @$ D# a c4 F. T) @4 p! S! n4 Q
- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators.
* A9 e3 q3 e6 ~! R. J4 p3 P- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures. " M) r9 a* J& i: P$ W9 @6 {! R5 Q
- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence. % O0 W' Z' Z' V9 J7 p( {
- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction).

- A minimum of grade 12 diploma 6 Y/ B9 E; {5 X( H e
- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills , ?" J0 _+ u: j* g- W0 r
- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
2 y+ u* p- l* }. ]- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.% c( z. m! u. `& r3 h7 H2 Z
