As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:

: O" ~. T$ Y4 x4 ]. C* V) q' I- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved.
& y3 w: M; i* ?7 I- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants.
0 A0 m$ m* c" d* _- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators. P5 Z# @# A+ J6 I
- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures.
. E" Y" f! J" e% X- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence. ! q$ {, l1 f, t3 W5 o% y( ]7 ?' x
- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction).

- Previous supervisory experience
' B/ g3 \8 s8 i3 |& T- Strong leadership skills
2 z D% t( h) N( l7 E u X! }- A minimum of grade 12 diploma 9 z) @+ Z/ l- U0 i$ a' v- c
- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills
9 |. E; T( M9 J/ h( P- j1 o- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations 9 N% k. R$ s5 I4 S
- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.
