As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:+ Q' @* t5 R/ l. s
1 W. o( x( J- x y; K7 i# D- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved.
# @6 ~8 W0 |( _- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants.
$ S* v9 M: @6 A6 R2 P0 v- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators.
- x; h; g: h# x" H- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures. 2 W: m3 ~) u; E$ Z. r. m& J5 p* l
- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.
1 {2 z- w2 c$ X. r0 q6 g8 l- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction).

- Previous supervisory experience
3 |1 u# Z" O3 E5 v- Strong leadership skills
1 E* M3 F' I& C) `7 U; ~/ E, E- A minimum of grade 12 diploma
# p- Y( r* V9 p9 g- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills * v) b8 s& G5 C4 l9 V
- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
1 k3 n' y; D% ~4 k- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.- V0 ^7 I" W8 r4 I8 ~! h% ?' X& |
