0 K( d/ F3 l H5 U+ OAs a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:

- z% P) H3 J" i- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved.
1 C4 B6 w1 w- w: w2 Q, i# }8 V- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants.
, k/ Y8 a# a9 Y( B1 O- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators.
: y* X/ k: F. D9 @4 A7 R/ v- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures.
- q( @/ l8 v/ ~5 X3 }: M' ?- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence. 7 `; C, z }( X5 @8 V) g& `; ~3 Y
- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction). 6 ~! j5 A+ t; L; x( H% Z2 f
- Managing shift expense budgets. + Z! k, x' ^ F

Experience and Education Requirements; A- X6 s& u3 e8 Q6 ?

- Previous supervisory experience 5 S9 }5 }% l; b. _5 Y I& z" o
- Strong leadership skills , G% _5 ` c9 L* @
- A minimum of grade 12 diploma
9 v: o: P9 \! k( B* v- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills , F2 A* @5 N- m0 V1 J% j
- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
3 [% I4 O* Y3 S: Z/ S% _- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques., G. o- Z: n |! m9 M$ d
