In accordance with the Edmonton Chinatown Care Centre’s mission vision and values, the Chief Executive officer will lead the organization focusing on the following objectives:

) t; d) @" M/ S) z! yLead the organization towards the excellence in resident care and quality of life for Seniors
3 R& A) W! {* T! v. @Adhere to the highest standards of organizational management and fiscal responsibility Build networks, alliances and partnerships
Achieve and maintain accreditation standards
Engage and collaborate with all internal and external stakeholders
, w+ d9 I& X: zBe accountable for decision and actions
3 B( n/ U6 q0 F0 M4 J6 E/ cMitigate risk to the organization.
Education:

& w/ h( o) h* ^, q: f0 {; `$ xA minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university, or a combination of management, health and/or public administration courses and related experience is required.
& E: P6 @" g) x# o& X9 x" {8 y: q• A Master’s degree is preferred in a related discipline
Experience:
2 t# f, f4 t( Z
Demonstrated involvement with Board’s of Directors.
5 g5 J+ |+ `5 f3 {Public speaking and crisp writing skills are essential.
Senior’s housing, long-term care, supportive living and homecare in a position of leadership.
Professional:

Current or past Member of a professional organization (regionally, nationally or international).

' ]: @3 K5 y9 c) w' C% [Current or past Member of a Community Provincial, National or International organization.
' E# b% \2 y1 L4 A7 y, Z: AMaintains current membership within statutory bodies and organizations in or outside the
2 L& h' Z1 f0 j0 Z0 ^' SCenter objectives.
