In accordance with the Edmonton Chinatown Care Centre’s mission vision and values, the Chief Executive officer will lead the organization focusing on the following objectives:

! U6 y2 @, a& C, _# D- m) FLead the organization towards the excellence in resident care and quality of life for Seniors
; |' A) |" j# _/ \Adhere to the highest standards of organizational management and fiscal responsibility Build networks, alliances and partnerships
) @/ e' F/ p/ v! J0 iAchieve and maintain accreditation standards
Engage and collaborate with all internal and external stakeholders
Be accountable for decision and actions
1 d3 L2 K- n) p; k& HMitigate risk to the organization.
' \9 r' L5 w# U: s7 B) q7 u2 hEducation:
8 m+ H- Y& ^9 N$ `" x2 k& Q
9 g( B% D% f8 r; o$ P/ t, uA minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university, or a combination of management, health and/or public administration courses and related experience is required.
4 M9 R" M+ V/ d& ~( P' {. Z• A Master’s degree is preferred in a related discipline
Experience:
6 r) E" q$ T" h  C* ~- s. I
Demonstrated involvement with Board’s of Directors.
Public speaking and crisp writing skills are essential.
Senior’s housing, long-term care, supportive living and homecare in a position of leadership.
Professional:
; u5 k! {( Q# ^! }
Current or past Member of a professional organization (regionally, nationally or international).

Current or past Member of a Community Provincial, National or International organization.
( A3 h, W" D7 q5 zMaintains current membership within statutory bodies and organizations in or outside the
Center objectives.

( I7 D* U/ E, i9 z+ sSecurity Clearance :

* I6 L$ \# @" W- }0 d# kMust have clear criminal record
