Volunteer Mentors: Celebrate Science Literacy Week with Children Coding Workshop                                                                                   
Description:
* ]' T2 k6 O% j7 P" C! m, H. q“Science Literacy Week highlights Canada’s outstanding scientists and science communicators from coast-to-coast. The goals are to showcase the excellence and diversity of Canadian science and to show how exciting science is."
* W! H% e. a6 _As part of Science Literacy Week, Kids Code Jeunesse will be running free workshops for kids across Canada from Sept 18th – Sept 24th in Libraries and community centres to introduce children to science and code.
7 F; z7 t+ B7 T' dThis September, Kids Code Jeunesse will be in the Edmonton area and we need your help! We're looking for volunteer mentors for Coding workshop.
Key Responsibilities:
- mentoring learners and providing support to our lead instructors to help create a warm, friendly and inclusive learning environment for children

- Enjoy the world of education and are looking for ways to give back to the community
- Have a passion for technology and want to learn more skills
