DURATION: CONTRACT OR PERMANENT
SALARY RANGE: Compensation will be commensurate with experience, but overall compensation will be results-based and goal-oriented.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
9 i5 s2 m2 O1 l4 d2 C6 t• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
. i2 D; j" y& T( o* S( V   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
   o Microsoft Operations Manager
  Y9 Q, \' O0 k# C& Y$ `   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
- A/ C) B$ E3 I" N% ^) v% q   o Linux based operating systems
6 s& k$ O3 e( _$ x# k7 ]- J   o Sun Solaris operating systems
! h7 }! @& \( i2 q8 K+ b   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
, p8 ?! V( A' n9 S( k/ b% h• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
; K/ L3 k; t7 C" D• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
! i( u+ o* G& a• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
platform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
SMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.
• Advanced Cisco routing and switching and/or firewall configurations

• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience

• Ability to work in a team environment

. _0 a+ E% X, y1 k3 {• Excellent documentation skills with detail AND accuracy
• Certification should include some or all of the following:
   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
3 N2 o& R2 a0 b9 b, W   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
$ m9 G4 \+ i- D7 K# S   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)

1 ?5 Z& @( T! d7 f   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)
   o Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA)

4 x% O, F4 a+ t( |, e5 t: [9 K• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple medium sized projects
6 R1 y4 ^4 s; y& K0 O• Ability to understand and deliver high quality customer service
• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
0 ~" g; s5 g9 x- x• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005
• Have 4+ years of network design experience
• Have led medium to large sized projects
• A valid Alberta driver’s license is mandatory
• Clean enhanced criminal record abstract
