LOCATION: EDMONTON, ALBERTA, CANADA
DURATION: CONTRACT OR PERMANENT
% d' p6 X$ g' K( q, v! I! FSALARY RANGE: Compensation will be commensurate with experience, but overall compensation will be results-based and goal-oriented.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
4 y% F9 `' _$ z4 G; Y! R• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
5 X$ Y8 _( a  a1 p   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
! ]$ g2 o2 m; D) ?   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
6 `$ x4 _4 z% j) V+ j! L0 E( S   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
" M4 J! U1 J' W3 |   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
   o Microsoft Operations Manager
8 v" |$ r! T+ R$ n: Z, ]   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
* r! w: L2 {, }  X5 }   o Linux based operating systems
6 E8 a# k( @: Q! k  S6 ]/ u   o Sun Solaris operating systems
   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.

( u! c. Y4 L  `: O• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
platform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
- N/ P1 Y0 g8 G" W0 jSMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.
• Advanced Cisco routing and switching and/or firewall configurations

SKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy

• Certification should include some or all of the following:
" ]! P$ Z5 S& {8 ?7 ^   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
; o+ U1 ^) C$ C" d- b- I   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
3 \7 T: }- |: h" @   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)

9 A3 W4 V) K5 U! ^' j& m6 d* S   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)

   o Any other professional certification designations are a bonus
! {  f5 ^, ]2 H3 J• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple medium sized projects
• Ability to understand and deliver high quality customer service
$ C2 _. r1 q/ R- ?8 ]/ ~5 e! A• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
! k! t3 p) ]0 E! G% j• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
3 g+ S/ P# G# o7 l• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
4 G( s4 f, n2 z5 N• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005
• Have 4+ years of network design experience
• Have led medium to large sized projects
