Canada North Camps Inc. (14238 – 134 Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5L 5V8) is looking to hire a full-time Cook who could be responsible for preparing and serving a wide variety of food items while maintaining a clean and safe work environment adding to an all-around pleasant dining experience for our customers.
Duties:
- Prepare sandwiches, salad bar and other high quality meals
- Supervise kitchen staff
- Ensure kitchen staff follow company safety practices
- Plan menus, estimate food costs, order supplies

- Maintain acceptable levels of food production
# p, N7 h: J. R, u; q- Work night shifts, as necessary
Requirements:
- Completion of college or other program in cooking is mandatory. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in restaurant / hospitality/ culinary arts is considered an asset.
2 h+ c% f0 R2 [; A+ m- Minimum 2 years of previous experience as Cook in a fast-paced environment is mandatory.
- Good proficiency in English.
- Highly organized.
/ x  S4 C6 A1 V& wThis is a contract, full-time position.
) h# ^: M, n4 t4 h  wWorking hours: 10 hours per day, 70 hours per week.
9 `8 V* a, B3 z, }3 p2 N: {3 I9 X4 F8 EWorking schedule: 21 days on and 7 days off.
Salary: $160.00 per day. After 3 months of employment, medical, dental, disability and pension plan benefits will be available.
Location: Simonette Camp (51.5 km west of Fox Creek), Alberta
