Canada North Camps Inc. (14238 – 134 Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5L 5V8) is looking to hire a full-time Cook who could be responsible for preparing and serving a wide variety of food items while maintaining a clean and safe work environment adding to an all-around pleasant dining experience for our customers.

6 U7 n- e. P, A5 w; c1 C, P! f- Prepare sandwiches, salad bar and other high quality meals
- Supervise kitchen staff
+ `- y# Q% m8 b' K" A+ B! }- Ensure kitchen staff follow company safety practices
- Plan menus, estimate food costs, order supplies
$ K9 X  ?' N- _; [  H  \& P8 `4 a5 \- Manage kitchen operations
- Maintain acceptable levels of food production
. A3 p5 u; r# K- Work night shifts, as necessary

: g9 [, {$ Z3 O' h; t; l- Completion of college or other program in cooking is mandatory. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in restaurant / hospitality/ culinary arts is considered an asset.
* i" x5 ]0 p3 d% o- A; g- Minimum 2 years of previous experience as Cook in a fast-paced environment is mandatory.
) J5 i  L/ v8 R$ K7 Z- D0 Q$ u- Good proficiency in English.
6 q& o( [. W* k# h& G; G- G- Highly organized.
This is a contract, full-time position.
0 t  E" {* X, s$ cWorking hours: 10 hours per day, 70 hours per week.
Working schedule: 21 days on and 7 days off.
! Z9 |8 g; |& @3 s* q2 L6 YSalary: $160.00 per day. After 3 months of employment, medical, dental, disability and pension plan benefits will be available.
Location: Simonette Camp (51.5 km west of Fox Creek), Alberta
