Canada North Camps Inc. (14238 – 134 Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5L 5V8) is looking to hire a full-time Cook who could be responsible for preparing and serving a wide variety of food items while maintaining a clean and safe work environment adding to an all-around pleasant dining experience for our customers.
Duties:
- Prepare sandwiches, salad bar and other high quality meals
- C# l, K( @2 @. C- Supervise kitchen staff
# m9 i+ O& _+ s! z% }% j# g5 e9 H, a- Ensure kitchen staff follow company safety practices
- Plan menus, estimate food costs, order supplies
+ W( Y4 g% |; z- Manage kitchen operations
2 {5 g% U! s0 l! `- Maintain acceptable levels of food production
+ `: c4 j% {& n: H- Work night shifts, as necessary
  d: o. Y' x% o# ~. XRequirements:
- Completion of college or other program in cooking is mandatory. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in restaurant / hospitality/ culinary arts is considered an asset.
) W  k# Q$ Q6 f4 n' W: I0 {- Minimum 2 years of previous experience as Cook in a fast-paced environment is mandatory.
* q. ?9 t0 T# x& ?( t" Y- Good proficiency in English.
/ |( ^  f/ ?( a  d- f- Highly organized.
This is a contract, full-time position.
; D, D$ i# m4 A% w" J2 S: o  pWorking hours: 10 hours per day, 70 hours per week.
Working schedule: 21 days on and 7 days off.
Salary: $160.00 per day. After 3 months of employment, medical, dental, disability and pension plan benefits will be available.
