Yong Qiang Chartered Accountant is a small public practice accounting firm that serves the clients in Edmonton and surrounding areas. We provide accounting, tax, and other services for small sized businesses.

We are looking for a part time Accountant who can represent our firm by communicating with our clients while performing general accounting duties. You will develop your skills by working on a wide range of assignments. The main tasks will include but not limited to the following:
. C) {' p4 M' G5 W/ \& h) t• Perform Full cycle bookkeeping duties (AP, AR, Bank reconciliations, etc.)
n. a& p$ h* f5 [! J1 K8 V7 z• Prepare CaseWare working paper files, 5 a: [( t5 J9 T# w
• Prepare financial statements
. k8 c! j/ w$ c" ]& U2 A8 B6 f4 A• Prepare corporate tax returns
1 p4 N O+ H! y2 o6 y! ?• File GST returns ! b, N4 G' s9 `2 E& Y) i. ?3 q
• Process payroll4 o8 I! I4 F- a+ w ~1 U9 H9 |. n
• File T4/T5 returns 3 D0 x6 T- L# W% U* H
• Prepare personal tax returns % x2 u8 B, w" j+ V
• Communication with our clients and government agencies
|; B& _; Z6 \8 _+ {& X' K) z* B' O8 W$ n) h
The position requires prior public practice accounting experience, proficiency in Caseware, profile, Quickbooks, Sage 50, and Excel.

/ @( F; k* t" t) h3 bConsideration will be given to the candidate who possess strong organization skills, have the ability to multi-task, and meet deadlines under pressure. Designation is preferred but not required.
