Yong Qiang Chartered Accountant is a small public practice accounting firm that serves the clients in Edmonton and surrounding areas. We provide accounting, tax, and other services for small sized businesses.

$ `& F% m) U' N6 A' x: R3 sWe are looking for a part time Accountant who can represent our firm by communicating with our clients while performing general accounting duties. You will develop your skills by working on a wide range of assignments. The main tasks will include but not limited to the following:
: s* C1 M3 g! @. J•        Perform Full cycle bookkeeping duties (AP, AR, Bank reconciliations, etc.)
+ @6 P4 e1 a- D4 m, z' A•        Prepare CaseWare working paper files,
•        Prepare financial statements
8 }3 W1 Y# W% t& {7 t  i$ ^1 e* ^* v•        Prepare corporate tax returns
: @4 c0 B+ d9 j0 d7 k$ b4 M•        File GST returns
•        Process payroll
4 O) E9 L  W* H8 c9 F- Q' C•        File T4/T5 returns
•        Prepare personal tax returns
•        Communication with our clients and government agencies

) Q: s- F+ ?3 O% K# }0 ~The position requires prior public practice accounting experience, proficiency in Caseware, profile, Quickbooks, Sage 50, and Excel.

" Q4 O: r" U, p7 w4 g: FConsideration will be given to the candidate who possess strong organization skills, have the ability to multi-task, and meet deadlines under pressure. Designation is preferred but not required.

% p( ?2 x: J0 v' F不要读这个专业，除非你有背景或者以后会接手/经营自己的business

% v0 ]. F* s! T2 K' h3 `) d这个专业的新手一捞一大把，供大大高于求，但是这个专业到了中级就比较容易了，缺点是薪水太低，一直到了高级或者是designated就不同了，供小于求，在招工的网站，大部分要求designation的工作都要放好久才被拿下来，这个门槛卡住好多好多人。。。。
