Job Description:

! T, Z) m. {7 ]+ d. L3 C' VPlan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards
4 p; w/ f; F0 z4 J# Q! G. tEstimate food requirements and food/labor costs
: A7 P& f# t5 O  m& b: JSupervise kitchen staff’s activities
Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs
Recruit and manage kitchen staff
, p5 K& S: Q) L4 eRectify arising problems or complaints
6 f8 v! G5 E6 O" g. N8 A- f1 pGive prepared plates the “final touch”
Perform administrative duties
3 a6 U5 f" F' L/ z# c5 UComply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
' }+ i+ t- x4 J: \# sKeep time and payroll records
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Excellent record of kitchen management
Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
Capable of delegating multiple tasks
Communication and leadership skills

Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
