Job Description:

Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards
! ]8 Z8 O* D; C5 S6 Q0 n3 b/ sEstimate food requirements and food/labor costs
Supervise kitchen staff’s activities
Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs
Recruit and manage kitchen staff
( M. s" _; ^- C+ X# ?! J6 r& TRectify arising problems or complaints
Give prepared plates the “final touch”
% M6 N) p% ~' s3 cPerform administrative duties
3 H% E. U3 Z( [Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Keep time and payroll records
$ l9 y  G1 Z4 [" Q; K& m# GMaintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Communication and leadership skills
Keep up with cooking trends and best practices

BS degree in Culinary science or related certificate
