Job Description:

; I4 \9 H( H3 [+ L! \Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
8 G) s2 N. ?4 lModify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards
0 Z$ X; {5 n# C5 sEstimate food requirements and food/labor costs
Supervise kitchen staff’s activities
Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs
+ x5 N' z9 Z' y1 ]7 g% u7 ^) [6 ARecruit and manage kitchen staff
Rectify arising problems or complaints
: r: T8 r0 I; D8 g  w- T. q  R* YGive prepared plates the “final touch”
Perform administrative duties
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
& \2 X" J6 X1 K3 nKeep time and payroll records
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Excellent record of kitchen management
Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
Capable of delegating multiple tasks
Communication and leadership skills
Keep up with cooking trends and best practices

BS degree in Culinary science or related certificate
