We are currently seeking detail oriented person based in Edmonton to fill the role of Junior Accountant.

• Answering to the Company Controller, the candidate will assist with invoicing, payables, cash receipts and disbursements, account reconciliation, and G/L entries.
5 e+ @6 B4 h7 U7 Q/ b• Candidate will also be responsible for filing, verifying vendor invoices, and various reporting tasks as required.
o) Q* u9 {0 }0 [' D6 P, J. J& |" B• Candidate will communicate between various departments, including sales, logistics and production to ensure that operations are running as cost-effectively as possible& [! |# K7 f; ^6 |
• Various administrative and order processing duties as required.4 @$ L- \' ~6 K ]9 j: x

REQUIREMENTS:
4 g% k/ e3 }3 J8 q: t6 q# F; f/ J6 z+ S9 [) f9 c1 B
• Minimum 1-year of experience in Accounting or Accounts Receivable/Payable role
5 u) m" j3 Y, F• Post-secondary degree or diploma in an Accounting or Finance related field of study
- z* |5 Q/ w- y# B$ Z4 I• Aggressive self-starter with excellent organizational and time-management skills! W; Y+ u4 ^: ~: D2 o& x: k2 p
• Must be highly detail oriented with strong grasp of numbers" b7 `/ `4 `) E$ x9 I* x
• Strong computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, data entry)
