We are currently seeking detail oriented person based in Edmonton to fill the role of Junior Accountant.0 @" i5 C+ ^: w) L

• Answering to the Company Controller, the candidate will assist with invoicing, payables, cash receipts and disbursements, account reconciliation, and G/L entries.
2 x- o. e9 K' X3 l, q- _* _• Candidate will also be responsible for filing, verifying vendor invoices, and various reporting tasks as required.) q& ` E; ]# o0 [0 G6 W* _2 Z
• Candidate will communicate between various departments, including sales, logistics and production to ensure that operations are running as cost-effectively as possible

REQUIREMENTS:6 l$ N8 I: s2 a$ a" s$ @

• Minimum 1-year of experience in Accounting or Accounts Receivable/Payable role
) m2 t6 X, Q' J0 ^• Post-secondary degree or diploma in an Accounting or Finance related field of study9 P0 E" f0 h% U+ U; [% Z
• Aggressive self-starter with excellent organizational and time-management skills+ ?" S* F, _/ H, _4 [( m
• Must be highly detail oriented with strong grasp of numbers
