: U$ @4 `9 t- a' W8 C% ` We live in Magrath Heights and we are currently struggling with our 5-year-old daughter's to Kindergarten registration. I wonder if there are parents in Magrath, MacTaggart area who are struggling with this issue as well. I wish to explore possibilities to group up and help each other out on making our lives easier with the half-day kindergarten program.

0 o' s4 y' m, _8 q$ J We need to make up our mind as to which school to register to since one kid can only send in ONE registration at a time, and it can be really hard to switch school in the middle of the year. Currently there are two options for my daughter:0 a6 R q0 ?) J' X8 S

Option 1: Regular program - a new school - Nellie Carlson(http://www.epsb.ca/schools/newsc ... ions/nelliecarlson/) is under construction and scheduled to open September 2016; boundaries not finalized yet. ( j2 j, n+ y7 ~2 L, R! C2 A
No on site child care available. 8 }" |+ ^+ s1 _& x3 Z: \' m

IF we fall under the final boundary, what to do with the afternoons? My husband and I both work full-time 30 minutes drive from home. I maybe able to take one afternoon off in a week, part-time is not likely an option.+ `) Y2 _ P$ [2 S: G: U# u
$ e! i1 |5 I8 q" [: d8 A) H. eOption 2: Mandarin Bilingual program - Parkallen School where there is a YMCA KinderCare close by, $755 a month, AND there is a wait list.
+ A9 o0 M; a* i' z1 E6 a Honestly, I wish to send my daughter to the Mandarin Bilingual school, but again, there is the afternoon issue, YMCA is not guaranteed and expensive. I wonder if there are other parents considering this school and we could come up with a program to support each other and incorporate with Chinese elements. - Y1 e# s; p- K, B u/ i
