EDMONTON - One person is dead after a vehicle crashed early Friday into the South Edmonton Common Walmart.

Police and fire crews responded to the crash at the at 1203 Parsons Road, just after 2 a.m. Police said the vehicle struck the wall of the Walmart garden centre.$ ?5 o9 @1 M2 D$ q

Police have not confirmed the person’s age or gender.0 X3 W$ F+ f5 g9 ^( ?+ R7 H

The fire was quickly under control, but the heat set off the sprinklers inside the store, forcing the night staff to flee.
