Newcomers are being offered some help when shopping for a home in Edmonton’s tight housing market.
. ^- _$ J) A0 h; G1 r, [+ w4 AImmigrant women and their families can now access a “household toolkit” crafted by a local service group for new immigrant families, through real estate agents. " L% |4 `0 P1 |0 F8 X

In the tool kit are 75 common hand tools – like a hammer and screwdriver – as well a book on how to buy a home, a home maintenance schedule and other items.

The program was announced by a group called Changing Together… A Centre for Immigrant Women.
