You can have a career as a heavy equipment operator working for Suncor in Fort McMurray, making great money and doing work you can be proud of! Tuition will be provided for qualified applicants.

This program prepares women to be considered for hire by Suncor as Haul Truck Operators for the Millennium Mine Project north of Fort McMurray.

2 E. x- w6 i& t* S, aThe WBF Suncor Heavy Equipment Operator Program is structured as a 2-½ week classroom training segment at WBF in Edmonton and three months of paid, hands-on, co-op training by Suncor at their Millennium Mine Project north of Fort McMurray. Candidates that are successful in the training program and align with Suncor’s culture and safety standards will be considered for full-time employment at the mine. Valid Class 5 driver’s licence without restrictions (no GDL) or other provincial equivalent

Strong employment history and work references
( \5 x0 \/ i7 Q2 x% h c, t! z" iAbility and willingness to work a rotating shift schedule – 12 hour shifts, 3 days, 3 nights and 6 days off
