This option is automatically included for all applicants up to age 59, and can be purchased for ages 60 to 85 (provided the applicant is eligible).! L5 Q; l$ c. A, o% ^4 B3 m
When the option is included or purchased, exclusion 1 in the policy is modified such that, after any applicable waiting period, a stable chronic : _$ _% k# \0 k( c0 t1 vcondition (as defined) is covered under the policy.
“Stable Chronic Condition” means: a condition which is under treatment and which has been controlled by consistent use of medication prescribed by a “physician”; and" Y8 w& v! d3 C3 ^, i
• there have been no new symptoms or change in symptoms; and/or 7 l6 t( N5 ]% L$ U• there has been no “hospitalization”or change in treatment, medication or dosage in the 180 days prior to the “effective date” of this policy. 8 d1 ^* R* j* D6 d# }! `. t) u0 LIf “your” “physician” has determined that “your” health condition has improved and changes “your” treatment or medication or its dosages due to “your” improved health condition, this does not constitute a change.
