(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By 3 H5 `6 T/ O ~, J/ ]1 P
attending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of $ e# G! G( S9 j2 S. H& M1 i* i. T6 r
information that will make your transition to the University community 5 j* d; y1 [3 ~* \$ l0 y
more successful.

Orientation 2006 will be held on Monday, September 4th and Tuesday,

If you are unfamiliar with campus you can visit

of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically

7 h, w% U* n- G- N7 M' ABoth days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening

a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday

You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on
- x# e8 I! y4 [0 X( ]3 ASeptember 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006, / X) ? c: ^& E; _ I! Y% k
and then continue to meet with for the entire year.

* \/ Q6 A/ v4 M! L* Y! |" R2 MBoth MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you / n$ \/ f1 l# ?9 u) D
to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from
0 V0 X# z: }- H+ ryour faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your 9 w: @6 z+ w2 h. S# }0 J
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
2 C6 C1 G& u+ n4 Gyour ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece 5 b1 o2 V; a0 s3 {$ d; \5 h: P+ ?
of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
8 Q! T9 ^2 ?6 {% Y/ s9 hComputing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic
+ l( X$ G! [2 @ c0 CInformation and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and 7 @2 u0 X# s+ S- ? G2 R4 Y! B
bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the 3 r0 n# x3 v* Q( D
two days of Orientation).
