(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By

If you are unfamiliar with campus you can visit

0 O7 p# ~& o X% t+ l5 L* vBoth days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening ' c' d$ Y6 L% h+ P. L' A
activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend # x0 _5 p( N- L; C3 S( ^1 s
a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday # _ T- q+ W' P6 _+ _
evening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in
' N% m9 ~, G/ rHawrelak Park.& @7 W; R" I, {/ w1 c; n- R- _% M
! J3 H' o( F) ~- ^
You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on
6 R M! @! y$ n( w9 P! R6 B& c8 \9 z; sSeptember 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006, * S; U: }! `+ H. T
and then continue to meet with for the entire year.4 w$ e+ p. W1 f% ^% N
. W$ m) o+ v" g. RBoth MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you
4 R3 o3 E% {5 B4 z: ]9 Cto get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from 2 W$ U. T; X2 u+ c# U' @
your faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your " f$ T- ^: n6 W% _( k1 B
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process , g! h% M8 q5 G! Y1 v5 \: A- p
your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece 4 } M8 c( ^: e+ j& \
of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
# v6 m" R' [$ fComputing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic
, U9 s$ B# z3 K5 A* c7 Z9 ]" OInformation and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and & H9 n) f, \7 P( X! V8 [3 A6 S
bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the
& q+ a* t; |2 f% R0 G6 l; xtwo days of Orientation).
