(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By

Orientation 2006 will be held on Monday, September 4th and Tuesday,
# ]) J+ n" k7 p" J8 Q. H( W& T/ ]September 4th, 2006. Check in is at 9:30am on September 4th. Your check & w$ s* H: N- o( n4 t+ P
in location is T B 105 in the Henry Marshall Tory Building, which can

' p/ X9 i$ }( N5 d0 tto find your check in location all by yourself, there will be hundreds
* Y* U! s3 f/ B2 Uof volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically
& |' G# g5 G% B' u) q; @& slook for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth
9 N, ]/ Q, ~& jof directional information.

& u* }, [% c2 K, z9 C, Y' r% ^, z7 K% }$ |3 _Both days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening : E2 Y- R* g' G+ g/ H9 l) R& F
activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend
( H: c C5 ]% U5 d4 sa variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday ) |' C! C% R6 h3 }: i. }
evening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in
& D+ l$ `* ?/ lHawrelak Park.1 O- v5 M" j9 A$ C

You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on 6 ]( m2 P* O7 ?3 m
September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006,
. _. U" N0 X R, u0 c' Aand then continue to meet with for the entire year.

Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you # {% d" V, m7 }
to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from f( l& ~, |* V
your faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your 4 u8 T( ~. J( h* I4 d/ ]
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
- e- e; L" V1 [2 jyour ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece 8 H, c! L& |9 c. e% F- J9 J4 F
of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus 2 k9 }1 d& R+ F/ `0 S
Computing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic
. p2 G( g5 b2 H" v( AInformation and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and
' D/ k& d( J1 G7 I3 V c8 Obring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the 9 j# W; K/ n1 j, _. ]% u
two days of Orientation).
