information that will make your transition to the University community

1 s& C0 m5 |/ K7 K9 ]; IBoth days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening
( l, O/ j, T3 E' S' N* nactivities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend
E0 |" c& J: E/ ka variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday
9 l* [ z* A9 v. t5 R# Zevening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in - L" h9 n- W" C, S9 M: W0 n/ g

2 U; m. F4 C9 cYou will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on
, ]( W* e' E7 T9 tSeptember 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006, & |: L' h; j0 a7 D& k
and then continue to meet with for the entire year.0 z$ [2 k& e. A6 g8 e% U
- [* G- x% ^" \3 ?& i/ |+ ~Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you
$ F9 v1 b0 N i6 s5 f) S4 F i8 xto get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from i/ B' v+ C8 a+ G3 d3 u
your faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your 7 ]% l, a8 ~+ e }
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
+ e: a) F) s/ w: `8 t6 cyour ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece
4 b% J+ s( k% i: a, v+ s6 }1 e& n7 t' n7 Cof government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus 3 F0 B( h- O* `
Computing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic
' R: I2 ^; U% H- [* xInformation and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and ) W1 f4 M, @2 _: j0 x" E& }, d& Z
bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the
' x6 Z9 S8 d, V2 h7 `. s2 _0 U; Z) e& Ctwo days of Orientation).
