(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By 7 [ J( G$ g( p/ F% J. Y
attending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of

Orientation 2006 will be held on Monday, September 4th and Tuesday,

If you are unfamiliar with campus you can visit

of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically

) {6 m" i* a. ]4 |' z) l$ B9 PBoth days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening
+ N6 G" M4 G# p; Wactivities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend
" P! Z+ Q; d/ _( A" o4 s/ Ua variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday
: j9 d& H* \5 V, X$ Wevening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in

: X& e# j+ J2 h* b. EYou will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on 9 ^$ M8 N0 l7 B9 ]) f6 [0 {
September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006,
' A% j) P/ T& Z* f4 Y& O% _and then continue to meet with for the entire year.# Z3 o' O. Q2 z9 r) O0 ^! R9 D3 r
! H/ _# P: _6 i( c# [8 a: L5 EBoth MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you
$ _# \( m* h& j! w& Oto get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from
4 Y2 c" T+ N* S1 F- Qyour faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your
2 d) Y) y+ a! P( d yONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process ) E- K' g- U- \5 C' R8 O
your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece
8 R$ M" ~9 [/ O3 `& cof government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
0 Y. p4 c, s y# TComputing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic
; g! r" _ o; _8 kInformation and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and
5 W, S2 e0 \3 b* g: F1 n6 L( Nbring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the . [ v1 ~' J$ p# y: j
two days of Orientation).
