4 }! r+ ?1 H% e1 n# `(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By 4 k( W" a4 s- M1 S
attending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of
v( E$ |! `6 t# u$ F/ vinformation that will make your transition to the University community * h M& S" N0 z. r$ U5 `! B
more successful.

Orientation 2006 will be held on Monday, September 4th and Tuesday,

to find your check in location all by yourself, there will be hundreds & k8 [8 w, |3 a- i/ B$ a0 X1 ?; S
of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically 6 f! v5 I* U/ S1 X; k
look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth 1 n, p+ r+ Z- P6 n' Z. Q

& C4 {$ F9 U& ABoth days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening

; t& O4 H% D A* Q$ J, V' V% Xa variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday

and then continue to meet with for the entire year.

Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you
$ j+ | d$ p1 p; H: ]9 M* A$ Jto get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from
) ?5 z9 `4 t; n( }* u* r; n* Byour faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your " C8 d. M0 z$ f
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
# D0 K L% T# z# k7 O; A1 Hyour ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece ' i7 q, \# j0 [ O# ~0 T
of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
; c( q3 N* }. Y! M+ CComputing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic
+ x: d* f% @6 r+ I- GInformation and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and , ~5 K2 d ?4 F9 O' j1 ]+ D5 E: V& ?
bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the . X6 p# y6 b6 H1 Z
two days of Orientation).
