(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By 7 Q7 A" O! u/ ^# J( b. L+ e
attending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of 3 {3 f, a% D( H7 j' {
information that will make your transition to the University community $ s5 k; P5 H( K9 ` g

Orientation 2006 will be held on Monday, September 4th and Tuesday, % f. O0 x1 X- ~3 `9 q! I* I6 G2 w

( I" ?# p8 |1 @5 i( a& [Both days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening
, s1 P- S% O% o/ G5 ~0 uactivities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend
- `, s @7 b: fa variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday - b0 q V" W$ s/ I1 u* s
evening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in
" f4 O5 f9 v$ Y; LHawrelak Park.

1 k2 s$ k" S" W9 JYou will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on # c% e- E3 E/ z& V9 @# h
September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006,

) H9 h0 F+ C, }Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you
0 l. V4 \: P" @: }' kto get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from 4 e1 Z8 f5 X Z9 A o
your faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your
8 X9 e% }0 m* f; m) O3 iONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
+ L6 e: C1 L! d, kyour ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece
! W! p" x% O) Y/ c) }% t7 i1 mof government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
" i* ^" e8 R0 \3 u$ m( D5 R; b# r2 zComputing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic
# f3 _9 y' U l2 X2 YInformation and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and
. X7 X* |' B( k' Lbring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the ; J4 `+ g3 o+ j" D
two days of Orientation).. p& U; m! ^, Z8 s" i! n$ C
