0 p7 @6 D5 [/ x9 ?, r8 f(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By 3 T& t) a3 `5 L! v
attending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of
( p: \/ r4 |7 vinformation that will make your transition to the University community 3 D7 O+ {4 T& h# ^
more successful.

to find your check in location all by yourself, there will be hundreds

look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth
c. ~/ ?! J3 iof directional information.

Both days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening [' M! \2 Q" E7 t
activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend
# u4 N4 ]8 D4 W" N1 v% q) u3 ma variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday
8 t2 _: w+ V. K6 i8 I1 M4 Mevening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in
+ e6 ]2 W' j! U1 A! _Hawrelak Park.6 @, _2 c* p5 q5 B& b0 F

You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on
9 @$ ]4 Y$ F& W! P% j$ g: h& NSeptember 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006,
& w, y# h+ Q& X5 ^1 o9 o4 y6 dand then continue to meet with for the entire year.
& C) A/ q- u7 Z/ a) F+ t3 x6 }4 V1 y1 p) Z) k/ T8 K$ U' a* Y0 v
Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you & k3 E9 _6 ~- Q: r0 g% m
to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from 2 Y/ k3 S0 ?& }4 r
your faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your . k+ F5 {% ]* V/ ~5 Y- J" \
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
0 b* x' L$ _6 K# z5 L9 S, ]. r9 cyour ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece 1 J" L% p. L5 O
of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus 8 {9 x. i2 k- j4 b8 K# D6 B
Computing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic
' y1 u5 ]& v+ @% \% f3 iInformation and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and $ U, x( M/ D7 N% {% X
bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the
! q$ D4 q9 p% N8 C) ztwo days of Orientation).6 F" c& n4 Y5 r6 R
