(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By ( q+ m- x- e; D( J
attending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of

Orientation 2006 will be held on Monday, September 4th and Tuesday,

% _3 s7 U4 ~" jof volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically + h @6 x. u9 G6 k8 g
look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth
6 U7 c" f- Y, kof directional information.6 j- w! M) m x

Both days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening e3 H6 Q/ ]+ J. \4 M7 W& I
activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend
( y9 c$ V% I9 h9 `) N, V0 F+ u! oa variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday 0 E: r# w( l/ A1 A! L. x
evening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in
. M1 K0 @& F7 I+ UHawrelak Park.
) U0 v7 |( M1 r, W) J/ I
) z1 d) L1 k: ^4 gYou will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on 4 d p( l+ m& Q4 B; n, k2 X
September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006,
4 L; R0 N6 s+ u4 y3 ~% H) vand then continue to meet with for the entire year.
) j! o6 c1 z$ e! n7 C- m) M; t% V
Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you 7 q( V' X0 Y6 d1 G4 q) \% n
to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from / v' q8 A/ q/ V0 C
your faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your
& W. O5 b8 t' e" F1 Z5 o- I( {$ L8 dONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
) U! E8 q5 n' b, |" xyour ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece
+ c! E; n( R$ B' Hof government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
& e0 p+ t' A# X0 NComputing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic # k G$ @! _0 v( f
Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and + @2 c3 }% `$ m) F& P7 V
bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the - v! X+ d! h' }
two days of Orientation).
