(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By

information that will make your transition to the University community

" C1 o0 F9 k3 |' ?3 }of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically
! c% N4 N! V$ {: h( }look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth / X$ J. G" Z2 T; t
of directional information.

q1 s: Q% { C# gBoth days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening + R3 Z1 W( @9 `7 T
activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend 3 R# \! W" D! O
a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday
; n7 A5 G* t9 R% qevening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in $ v, h3 [" T2 w; N: t6 q
Hawrelak Park.

You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on
8 L* `8 r3 }8 |9 @* PSeptember 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006,
( p7 J: | v' u \% R# uand then continue to meet with for the entire year.1 J4 H2 {4 k3 U! w

Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you 1 ^! g5 M; @" B) ~8 _
to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from
+ D- }( c' |* _! q7 Jyour faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your
# p" |2 L( t' c2 [% eONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
8 K7 i# @, T, y! ]" J6 Cyour ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece
- p4 W" ^# B0 n, k; {5 n8 G* \of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
# X3 \) v3 s& S! f; A: qComputing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic
# y5 V4 @7 A0 q# o5 s! A5 x% kInformation and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and . e; @ |' Y! b" p/ \& E- f. _
