attending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of

of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically ) m3 U; q: C4 @7 K l) Z$ `) ]- N
look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth
" `" y3 S' }; ^% b' D E0 jof directional information.

Both days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening
! p% u3 m- H. o: G2 Mactivities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend % m8 M3 _" {6 z) B4 y
a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday
6 g6 ^; J. I% s2 z% L2 kevening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in p. y% h; g; r k6 F5 \
Hawrelak Park.

) G# }4 F& b$ o* J5 QYou will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on * I$ Q# o. D) d) F) A
September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006, & X+ T) H I! ?- i6 l
and then continue to meet with for the entire year.- }7 p: |. D k- p9 D9 X
% n3 q) z- p- NBoth MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you
" R+ f: ~* }* cto get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from 3 S7 ]3 Z: ~) P" g7 ]$ s
your faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your
& K/ k+ ] W, \4 x6 LONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
2 ^5 p+ J0 n. E2 G" c9 Qyour ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece
9 {4 L0 V4 W- F% J" Aof government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
D f! g2 a; h: [Computing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic % B8 k: I3 ?8 L ~% d& `
Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and
) s( T( a; Q4 p' n! L. lbring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the
