attending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of

Orientation 2006 will be held on Monday, September 4th and Tuesday, ) Z, s* S! p' t1 x' V# t! `# G

in location is T B 105 in the Henry Marshall Tory Building, which can

If you are unfamiliar with campus you can visit

/ S a7 T% e; b$ x; p+ Ito find your check in location all by yourself, there will be hundreds 4 |" M* |+ ?/ j4 a4 B4 f
of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically * \" T( X1 v- W; Y5 n) `
look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth 1 o( {1 f. _0 |; w U n8 Y3 P7 P
of directional information.1 M5 S# z" U" t6 ?2 c; R
* y/ p3 w( h* O; ?5 B9 zBoth days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening & r$ y$ ~7 y" `8 ?, C
activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend 5 q! s1 X% H* i+ w9 X: x/ R4 }5 A6 j
a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday
/ f5 l* i. U" O) g. `" B: oevening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in w. M2 f/ R* Q; r) {+ \; \

You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on 4 ^6 W: Z( ?. x$ q; R+ e, N
September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006, % y3 i9 X7 x1 ^/ H' y* p
and then continue to meet with for the entire year.

& k( _0 G' [9 Q( f' jBoth MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you 5 |; ? I2 C1 N8 {/ c# J) R; ?
to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from 1 |& c$ [. `7 X$ P9 _# V3 ]2 M; @6 `' r
your faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your
7 r, ]# i7 ^: m" A/ Y0 [" VONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process 7 W. @( ?8 V% D8 W
your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece
4 Z% P( D' ]" U0 x2 vof government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
- c* i0 z# r# _) IComputing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic ) R+ ]; \: Z) V3 @
Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and 8 T* o0 z0 d% J, j. _. s8 T
bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the
