* |0 u5 D4 u/ z# k8 K(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By
- b1 r! J* _( c; Eattending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of
/ g5 ^4 i" h% a, R$ ^information that will make your transition to the University community # }/ u! E) Z! e0 ~# T) y0 i
more successful.

Orientation 2006 will be held on Monday, September 4th and Tuesday,
2 a2 B- V& p4 F1 MSeptember 4th, 2006. Check in is at 9:30am on September 4th. Your check

of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically 6 u8 E# C! v& s& @* C1 z" T3 E
look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth
& `6 s3 Z9 a! x" t1 `of directional information." _! h+ @! L# w
; ~) c4 m, n. N- z3 e8 W( w7 sBoth days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening ) a- ]8 t4 |6 ~8 M
activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend ' @. h ?) z! L0 U( N
a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday 9 K# a# E& Y8 Z, Q' \ M
evening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in

You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on
' o& j/ Z" n7 V! pSeptember 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006,
# ~" Y1 Z+ Y' \/ y% Q: }; Y) \, rand then continue to meet with for the entire year.

$ ` [$ ^0 E& P1 t9 G8 o1 xBoth MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you
4 f* c" U Z! {+ rto get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from + P3 n1 W7 `* C1 r2 B( m
your faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your ; E2 e# s6 Z, ^. O% [2 n
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
% {" j3 Q; _- x! ^3 J3 zyour ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece
; \/ y) S( |+ \; Q/ {8 lof government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
; y1 R/ Y& h+ h: p6 X- z; mComputing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic
( Q! R Y- _8 l. J4 o. NInformation and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and & T9 R/ K; e- c6 B- r) K# y+ m1 ^, _
bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the ) E2 J+ O0 _1 L/ x: J$ M" d1 N
