(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By 1 I6 `# H" g6 {' V b
attending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of ; v2 d* P1 t9 K+ a& k& d9 C
information that will make your transition to the University community , D4 { |7 T: m c4 G1 o8 `9 v/ @2 R
more successful.

If you are unfamiliar with campus you can visit

to find your check in location all by yourself, there will be hundreds & X) ]8 ~6 l+ ?4 C9 `/ n" }
of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically
+ ~1 O& J5 x# k( S. _look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth
5 {& Z8 ]5 Z* o4 cof directional information.

5 l8 |: T& {6 N, S9 P9 ?! j7 mBoth days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening
3 ~+ i, X; V0 ^" D yactivities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend
7 H. K3 }% v1 H+ F. L) E) F/ C4 wa variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday % ^$ N: s- a5 B, ~
evening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in / F6 D2 a# \, s: Z, J5 e" v1 g

You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on ( f8 p+ h- R/ {4 P! Y
September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006, 9 Q: k- n9 _- h: v6 u7 Z) p3 V3 D
and then continue to meet with for the entire year.7 O& T( i0 b2 J6 G% s# a0 o i q9 [
! O6 O4 ~1 x. O0 A1 ^$ Z
Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you " c1 d# c- I; }1 N
to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from 8 z# Z$ }8 {# b* g3 R- w
your faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your 7 X$ `: P2 X9 b+ r0 N, ]" _
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process 5 E& ~5 ^, l! M" k, |7 u) Q6 W
your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece
v1 [! y6 d, F# k" b+ u- U/ Dof government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus 5 k# d8 r8 m& r. B9 B, O
Computing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic ) Z* L2 d# ]5 ]* S% s2 r# X
Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and
- U4 w: f" n4 q* Bbring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the
