(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By " R/ m% {" x! ] b* \: A& N) w7 o( y
attending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of

more successful.

If you are unfamiliar with campus you can visit

to find your check in location all by yourself, there will be hundreds

look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth # l! e) B, Q5 f- @- s7 B' t
of directional information.

* r/ ^* p9 e) LBoth days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening
% T$ a/ e* z0 F N6 v) p& Iactivities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend 2 ^ x2 @* ^8 o, U/ Y$ q$ P
a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday
. H' {9 |; @3 q0 vevening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in

You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on
X# l4 `0 Z/ W. O: E Z) z7 oSeptember 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006,
( h! |7 T, k) ^1 S; P7 N) ]and then continue to meet with for the entire year.

M% F9 R! D- d7 q' XBoth MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you ) Z/ _- }9 i+ B% v& o0 Y& {
to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from
8 Q! n5 [, A) Z8 r) o. G3 R. `your faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your
% c3 m6 R( J' o* k8 l4 DONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
) S$ A/ _8 m# y; {1 w# j/ X) Tyour ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece ! D; f9 o6 f- z% p& y
of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
1 N/ E x% Z. DComputing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic
* p. Y, i5 f( y: r0 D) JInformation and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and
5 e9 u* Z) f) {. b% ?( `3 J0 }bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the
/ f7 L3 S7 d K# f+ J, {% S, V/ Etwo days of Orientation).
