(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By

If you are unfamiliar with campus you can visit

to find your check in location all by yourself, there will be hundreds 2 \2 V9 [0 ^! R4 O& i
of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically & e4 P( [7 E' x+ n x
look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth 9 Q4 G- K+ @$ \ P7 i( v2 p% m
of directional information.

! K3 t2 ^8 G" a) |Both days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening : N+ o( J+ n3 N6 V$ I% ?6 W h6 J2 E/ y8 Y
activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend 3 N" K4 {1 ?% Q5 E: b
a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday ; r# c, j! P5 Q4 @
evening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in
$ G5 m" e* N. g& o/ ]8 CHawrelak Park.7 s9 m9 z& d. ~8 Q* p( s, v
; _& D6 o# _; T7 v, D
You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on
' ]5 r0 s A' ]+ L+ k- sSeptember 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006,
5 \0 ?" {# f" X9 m4 rand then continue to meet with for the entire year.6 p4 N- J7 w, M6 q- S. o) _
9 w0 D' V8 I6 T8 L2 K) z$ LBoth MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you
( R! v8 _2 d, J, [5 E( t9 O, Bto get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from
2 r9 z. A: M8 o3 Q- O* s2 w( syour faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your % D& ^% N7 v$ R7 h& R1 @
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
3 }5 R/ v9 x; h: l; P8 Fyour ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece
8 U) r1 X$ ~3 M- b% r9 Tof government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
/ w6 ^: \+ k$ ^% g/ I6 i3 mComputing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic 9 c$ ] e" i3 N0 Y, D. x9 D$ M
Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and
* T- ?2 c7 S9 k, dbring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the 5 S2 a5 T+ L7 G. \* P& u
two days of Orientation).
