attending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of 9 s1 j, b4 T. i1 x- j, N
information that will make your transition to the University community 6 `% D$ N) x3 }1 k1 Y0 s' w
more successful.

look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth : L& n5 g- Y% K0 h
of directional information.

Both days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening 4 w4 S! x t& P0 u
activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend
0 a( U0 H" m3 p# t" {6 pa variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday
/ p) l8 w& _: c* P# cevening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in
4 m; C" F- Z) ]' U" J0 _7 yHawrelak Park.

' ]1 H, c7 {$ ~" D7 i1 {1 jYou will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on
% e3 L0 L9 h' i/ ~September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006, ( V3 I( m% C3 O, f) T6 |
and then continue to meet with for the entire year.

Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you , E/ Z$ W! s7 e/ ~/ {
to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from , t' p" X/ D# A9 g( O# N
your faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your
2 ^/ C: K9 B. v+ }ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
& j/ j$ F. r" C. n- f- m/ tyour ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece 1 E; A+ x5 C+ G
of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus 0 {; [2 N7 L6 x
Computing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic
# @9 f& ?- {; l. {" D0 G4 c* rInformation and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and * u$ J9 I( \% L" R4 g9 {4 X
bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the
