like to thank you for your interest in the My Undergraduate Groups ( O, E! |; j7 l l
(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By
& m+ m# g8 N( y) _& cattending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of 8 Q( |0 }- s6 e) u
information that will make your transition to the University community

9 }: n9 E: g, y! b* S) e' C% h) s% POrientation 2006 will be held on Monday, September 4th and Tuesday, ! _+ b, Z$ P M1 v
September 4th, 2006. Check in is at 9:30am on September 4th. Your check
! a" e5 n( x# J( Y5 Zin location is T B 105 in the Henry Marshall Tory Building, which can
% s% z, F( J, P [( o# }be found south of Saskatchewan Drive, west of HUB.

Orientation 2006 will be held on Monday, September 4th and Tuesday,

If you are unfamiliar with campus you can visit

of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically

/ V& Q1 D# q q; [; LBoth days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening
: K! l* |7 X. V( Q/ s( g9 pactivities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend : u" p! T8 F' q5 Y% z: ?/ j5 B
a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday

! \5 ?+ Q8 {+ a0 A) d, _You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on " e1 n* Q/ X* P( u* Y6 z$ Z0 H
September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006,
* W$ @4 S, Q; G& \% @$ eand then continue to meet with for the entire year.

0 t6 F H O" y+ \Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you
" ~' e5 g, x4 ^3 r# Eto get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from
1 M6 u' J: I W3 i8 H6 H. Y9 myour faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your / T O K3 y3 L+ O, ]8 o
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
4 k k6 }: ~/ h7 @7 a/ |your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece l% g! r' R5 J! \1 \% m( k1 V: J
of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
, q" t1 U; C r0 n; HComputing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic 8 O: d* N6 H" X; V& R: E2 p+ O' r* J
Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and
* l# F: f9 {+ `9 y3 J* nbring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the
( m/ B, I* }( I& I% L2 \two days of Orientation).
