attending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of

more successful.

to find your check in location all by yourself, there will be hundreds : P; p7 P, } q7 o9 _" K: H
of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically 4 x" K9 S6 u, H, G& B
look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth v& Y5 j7 I+ y# F
of directional information.4 X1 X' |$ E5 v6 @+ p, o* k
% n5 H5 v" v+ p% s, J/ p3 a o" Z
Both days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening
9 ~8 }4 [1 T7 M9 |activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend . S9 f! h7 z$ \& f# \
a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday ( W! G( |7 u" C
evening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in 9 f! J" H- T- I% w
Hawrelak Park.5 A; [6 R" \% z3 d5 g( a
* Y# [ T& B9 V5 p8 ^' W' q
You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on 8 y1 U. u* ~, O9 |" |' K
September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006,
' o0 z* U( y' b2 [and then continue to meet with for the entire year.1 H p: W8 v) k6 ` `
- `' i. w5 M: f3 ]8 VBoth MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you
8 J0 A: w ~4 q6 ]; }- Tto get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from
1 H0 p. W& l/ Lyour faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your - T/ f I+ r! B2 Z! B- F9 v
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process 9 {% @8 C- b8 i' R }: P3 f
your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece ; E! c3 o Q6 r. I) r9 f
of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
& u Q" {% y0 r# X7 m- [# X8 `. }Computing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic
+ W6 V# C- L8 i; B! f" ?; a% hInformation and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and
7 f! o' G' p) `$ Q9 E: \bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the
1 C1 @% q, H" ?+ Itwo days of Orientation).
