Orientation 2006 will be held on Monday, September 4th and Tuesday,

to find your check in location all by yourself, there will be hundreds
& h$ ?; O0 k" w, h/ N& [; R) Q6 Aof volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically 1 Z! n- ?4 u" _* y; t1 o8 m5 K* @" A
look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth

Both days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening 7 S' d3 H+ D( q" ~; f
activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend
4 {; s8 u% w; l9 na variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday
5 _" d. |. V8 {" C* E5 h1 Devening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in 7 A: Y! n; [5 \, T$ a4 x7 C |6 U! Z
Hawrelak Park.

You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on
8 o: |. C6 d/ W& g9 t" W! \! b: TSeptember 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006,
) O/ p" t6 w$ Q" H4 S6 cand then continue to meet with for the entire year.. Y M+ J+ ?- h$ U) ^4 T. T' F

Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you
- g0 k' X4 s+ I0 i- Wto get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from
6 {5 m2 k" ~, ~- S* u. myour faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your 9 }6 V* L" I7 H3 | ]% N
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
2 H4 W W( u3 _your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece 7 }2 U H# f- O+ O+ n0 h# l! y
of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus , x; t3 Q& e J8 E
Computing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic
# u* {( X _* cInformation and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and 8 N4 i, f4 U* h# \% a
bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the ' i7 {/ K( J1 J- i. T
two days of Orientation).1 Q7 ^* X$ U3 U0 V* G" K% C3 ]
