Alberta's Orientation program is now confirmed. In addition, we would

(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By 6 Z, F) Z" [' K, m
attending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of : j' I; U+ ?+ j9 x. n4 {$ H
information that will make your transition to the University community $ S" Y; {$ | V2 [( c( P- h
more successful.

look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth

Both days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening
5 C: j+ c& A2 r4 V cactivities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend
# l) c2 Q: s6 @" J: w* @a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday
0 Y: V4 y. ~. p6 d, l( @evening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in
( c1 N3 P) d/ }0 |- ^Hawrelak Park.

You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on
+ K' N. Z$ K# L0 S O; Z6 ]September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006, 0 A1 J- \) M% X! W5 `5 e# r6 w
and then continue to meet with for the entire year.5 J7 _9 C# o! @4 \7 ]$ c: i: o3 ?
5 L2 {$ M% H) U: r, eBoth MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you
# v& `6 W$ O T4 f1 _( p' Eto get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from . s+ ^- c/ \# A
your faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your : h I% t& C, c' l9 }
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process % j6 q0 Y9 N, H2 s6 F5 K
your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece
- P8 | e; a" Z2 r3 yof government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus ) l! X: P8 x, s7 U
Computing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic
: j `1 m5 m5 c( c& B9 X! @0 c; JInformation and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and
; ?3 l- z) d+ p; [ m6 v0 L: Obring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the
1 L1 O1 `* z0 ~9 g9 f. Ntwo days of Orientation).
