(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By 3 F' J, p1 i/ z
attending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of # [0 b3 q5 r5 k- A2 L
information that will make your transition to the University community , k3 e' o6 U3 t3 T' F$ [% B9 I# u$ T6 P

look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth * ~! Z+ c$ |6 Q: r6 X

Both days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening
5 j; Q* e/ M3 H$ `% |, B* Vactivities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend
d: |2 ~, K% X! S2 h5 Ia variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday
/ k* M" f( x- \4 b, j- Cevening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in " n/ i/ d8 ?/ l& U: I( _0 w

You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on 8 v0 r- u+ k7 f* Z& ?# M5 S
September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006, 2 M) X$ @, }# V5 Z a6 ^5 h
and then continue to meet with for the entire year.

& y" p& t3 p6 `6 a: n: YBoth MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you 5 Y7 x0 \# Q2 M8 X9 S4 ^
to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from
! K/ I7 ]+ B' B& |+ x2 kyour faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your 1 N' q p6 H0 Z6 C! N$ r
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
$ z- T/ O3 _* A/ Qyour ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece
1 g; i& W' d4 T7 b' X, ]of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus # X y; S" o2 v4 H0 W% Z4 O3 Q
Computing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic
, q$ w U9 I' h' }, u; XInformation and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and 6 r7 Q% Q K7 c1 ^3 x3 p
bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the
H# X2 @+ q! \two days of Orientation).
