Orientation 2006 will be held on Monday, September 4th and Tuesday,

If you are unfamiliar with campus you can visit 1 B5 G, f( k0 v( O0 M, Q

! a( T& u+ h% \0 ]- mto find your check in location all by yourself, there will be hundreds 6 k5 [! W3 t0 W8 I5 Z
of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically / q7 |: k' n! k) f
look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth 7 Q( R8 l7 Q# M" [9 x- _
of directional information.- y% ?, E( @$ k5 x4 m( u4 t
- J* K% n+ K+ QBoth days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening
+ ~: G& D! h8 O' W# W) Dactivities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend
8 c: E; \, N7 x1 V1 q n: Ha variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday
# J; N3 P, U0 D2 o% H( ?5 E8 hevening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in - G) m+ H; B( D- g8 b

You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on / E9 A$ m) P" F
September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006, & \+ u+ [, M" g$ r5 D
and then continue to meet with for the entire year.1 D% I' g$ l9 k4 y0 k
+ h) k4 J/ z* _0 k' vBoth MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you
* B1 `' }6 {% I! sto get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from
9 O: c& C8 l+ S byour faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your
7 _ e; z& o0 o9 H- n: cONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process ' s. v7 C! k! W) b; y
your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece . ]' W$ u) o) `; I5 m+ n
of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus - C# w! X# d6 N+ s- b9 c% \
Computing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic ! Q0 G+ U; Z, t+ z @: t9 P/ y2 @
Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and
3 E% ?& F2 K/ C1 Vbring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the
' E. {5 @$ }+ n7 F* G% _* g& S5 Z* [two days of Orientation).
