Alberta's Orientation program is now confirmed. In addition, we would

(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By

information that will make your transition to the University community

Orientation 2006 will be held on Monday, September 4th and Tuesday,

; @1 y' D4 U/ a2 b( C4 b4 bof volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically ( j0 O# ?2 {0 d1 d# ?5 x! c
look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth + o3 ^6 [8 G# P
of directional information.

/ w6 s1 C* b, ?$ ]4 [Both days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening
( h' w1 ~# N6 y b/ K. Uactivities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend 6 @" ~0 p$ j! r
a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday
/ ^9 W$ J1 D3 K% ?, e( \/ c4 Eevening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in ( D F" ?- o& m7 v* t# P/ D- a+ ?

5 \" t* b& I( }- [; M1 QYou will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on " ~2 S; G. i! u3 k. ~
September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006,
6 `; Q# q6 N- [and then continue to meet with for the entire year.& @9 Y0 z& `4 e1 e8 V- `
( s6 O2 e- u% K# X2 EBoth MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you 9 u3 u+ T1 ?: R. N
to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from D$ T7 J) _+ b
your faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your
; e# F; y6 E. Z" i+ t" HONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process ' E1 x' t2 x4 E% ~! Q
your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece
( a% A" _& Y) p* o# N+ D% Xof government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
e$ p9 Q$ B) k' n$ N. V. WComputing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic
& s+ T& T4 ^* m! F2 HInformation and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and - Z [1 I/ M2 u+ D! D& o: j$ o
bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the
