Alberta's Orientation program is now confirmed. In addition, we would

(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By 4 k! s2 L% X Z/ b) W& F& t
attending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of
- Y; T% c7 M( winformation that will make your transition to the University community 1 x' @% r' T9 T

If you are unfamiliar with campus you can visit

to find your check in location all by yourself, there will be hundreds
& \. B; x& _7 `" D; ]& B" dof volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically & m0 W1 b7 I* i. j0 o7 B1 L% V
look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth
# x# K' I/ l: X5 e8 wof directional information.
, ~4 c* Q/ x) O a, w
7 {+ m$ m9 K* W) } JBoth days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening + b+ ] b6 N9 x, {5 r
activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend
! p9 w+ O1 Z% C) j/ |+ x% J6 Ca variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday + d/ c* `0 r5 U) k( d9 D
evening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in # Q" _4 e0 U2 |3 {( u t2 y

You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on " ^! N/ a' e# R& h9 \9 o( a& F
September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006, 4 k) ]: ?4 @ x4 r6 W
and then continue to meet with for the entire year.

$ g9 T' N8 H$ x3 }# EBoth MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you 9 q! l$ C2 }) Z1 w W; L
to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from ( Y- f% |6 E' L/ a& O0 I
your faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your . Y1 L$ B( O) W. ^2 d: U2 h- n% U1 [
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process - U- Y, |7 p( N0 X1 ?% Z3 C
your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece + ~6 u @' r1 [7 [' s$ }
of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
" A* A" G1 o8 e$ o' zComputing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic 1 u5 z0 W' W$ e6 b/ q
Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and
" g/ W# B7 ^# b1 k/ Ubring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the
* e# r5 J5 g; y( z( ^8 Y" Dtwo days of Orientation). k1 L) ?; }; z' X
