(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By 1 A0 I+ p$ {# U) F" |
attending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of

look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth 6 j" j# d/ B% P9 Y! G7 V' e
of directional information.

# z3 @6 s o& d) C! z hBoth days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening
1 e6 u6 F3 c% T, D9 {activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend & S- E+ w, J0 B2 L0 H5 r j& f& }
a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday
8 A" \9 r+ u/ u' Cevening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in : p. E1 J+ |' x3 r8 g9 U
Hawrelak Park.

You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on
9 ~+ r3 M* z3 S; p6 L) ?$ Z; YSeptember 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006,
- S8 |* q6 w- H/ z5 b0 Cand then continue to meet with for the entire year.

" ~ e4 m5 o+ B: \6 sBoth MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you ' @/ b2 U! y( s' V( |( ] j; H
to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from , W; Q. T3 w% d9 ~' R
your faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your
6 T: {# P6 D4 Z* DONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
) ]& ^: V: L6 N- N" z, [your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece $ J" S% S# l: W; g& |
of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus - E/ o' N3 I- J, r
Computing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic " }+ W4 n' t, G% z
Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and $ }& L" x% U" y3 O! [" n. s" Q' l
bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the
