(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By ! g2 C5 {3 t% e' K
attending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of

: x! s# k/ `3 |" KIf you are unfamiliar with campus you can visit 2 v; Q) ~2 @; y( k$ @
www.campusmap.ualberta.ca to find your check in location. However, don't worry about having
& m3 e. v' P% ` n) K" [( S3 ito find your check in location all by yourself, there will be hundreds
) F- _7 c* h2 b, b* C* r G# ]of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically ( ~5 p; @( ^, r7 R; ?/ y
look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth 8 S( O( f8 J& j
of directional information.

Both days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening
0 ?. ^8 C! t! G, X9 Z6 _activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend
; @ D* e1 i5 w _, y. P: ia variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday
8 N$ ~3 w8 Y* z/ ]3 e( Qevening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in
( z0 S" h/ Z B" p( B) @Hawrelak Park.2 G2 d* ~* L, d" c* x9 ~
" Z6 `/ x' }8 ]* H, e9 N- p
You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on ' J8 _8 Z2 S' M
September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006, 0 O4 ]0 S) T! N# M
and then continue to meet with for the entire year.

Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you * i9 a* d; G4 a6 c
to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from
2 h3 ^$ F+ q; X: m( e8 N& Eyour faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your
4 k. w9 _4 r0 R9 J- xONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
5 o3 U0 d* A) myour ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece
- y9 Q% y( |( D9 \9 C5 j0 l& Z- p2 I4 pof government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
- [- w: x! P8 W1 p8 eComputing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic
8 q7 E4 u! @ G0 C; VInformation and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and
- s& E' a R2 g0 [bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the
4 Q& Q, W; N# g- C+ q, m+ E* }# H: jtwo days of Orientation).6 m# `5 p. w% v* b$ w2 N
