(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By
! N9 J7 U a; x5 C2 C* Q9 Eattending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of
0 ] M! H+ `; s# S) p& _) ^information that will make your transition to the University community

8 f5 @7 I0 i+ Y7 IBoth days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening
* H1 U7 _' h5 K* v* r5 t4 T# i, ~activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend . E8 m8 A+ h! ]
a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday
! w7 x, k# W. r# o# R6 [evening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in
* E$ T; t2 j3 T+ O$ xHawrelak Park.; m- c2 J0 d& `: H! t
! r! n8 R6 ?: v; J }' y6 R+ MYou will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on 1 U, ]" Z! K; A) P$ N
September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006,
' h5 v2 q& A+ G7 w H( Qand then continue to meet with for the entire year.

/ O% d* Q. i9 X6 A& O4 ^Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you 4 W3 j; |4 e- E; r0 D, j
to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from 7 }5 \8 Q1 z0 F5 S& Y% u. S7 u
your faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your 4 j2 w2 Q% Q5 Y0 k3 @' ~; p. d
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process ' _ G; c6 [( B: N5 z9 b
your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece
. R9 ^' [/ C8 ]# J- P! vof government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus 3 q0 O* X/ k, r/ L6 n; e
Computing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic
& s* `$ v: v& b9 U/ A, S$ O6 S+ F: IInformation and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and 4 v7 k+ i ~9 r
bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the 0 F& L! G, I$ @ ^; }
two days of Orientation).
