Orientation 2006 will be held on Monday, September 4th and Tuesday,

/ u" p( I* O$ P4 H! E$ wto find your check in location all by yourself, there will be hundreds
3 F4 X6 i/ U; O/ B" H- }of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically 4 J0 I4 |( f$ q$ B
look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth + r1 c8 Z- V- X0 I/ K& F7 ]
of directional information.

Both days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening : }& v( z. K( L9 t- C/ J5 u
activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend 0 f: L4 H& b7 v! ?+ r
a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday
2 I# c5 e/ F* f7 bevening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in 8 I$ E1 y+ J/ l% s# C7 t1 }

You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on * S* \* b }0 d' M: W% S3 l6 J
September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006, ' |0 g8 m- z" t$ ^
and then continue to meet with for the entire year.

. D4 S% B: a5 ? y P8 RBoth MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you 3 R" _, n8 h9 n- r
to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from
5 k1 c2 r9 X6 N5 w' [" M' Hyour faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your " k) }0 m( o- V
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
: d. n+ g+ t3 r7 O! Lyour ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece / `3 k `% s/ X1 ]
of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
' S* w* R( D; @; @2 gComputing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic
5 q1 Y5 l* ^; Q9 u- _' rInformation and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and
8 |5 Q( l$ C0 r& v' p. y) [bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the
/ y) \4 |$ L( J. w/ Btwo days of Orientation).6 F2 @, |" c) ]
