attending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of + {' M( v4 {4 L, Q" X+ l0 J
information that will make your transition to the University community

look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth

Both days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening 2 n, c- w. |: n. V0 e
activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend
5 P8 [; l5 ^' A* S6 i5 Oa variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday 8 A' e q: _# D4 O
evening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in

& B5 m- v5 K, e CYou will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on 4 P, c# r) s9 B4 s& @" N {
September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006,

Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you
$ G6 J7 a2 \' c: A5 L/ X- Lto get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from
9 ~: [- T; b8 X+ I4 Uyour faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your # c- e0 @6 r. _3 A
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
% }/ O% M& R: Y. ]5 ]; o, s2 kyour ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece
" J% i' @8 ?/ `; C) lof government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus P; B# g. w7 O$ d
Computing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic " y% j6 J' V ^4 B
Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and
0 K+ D' y* U' Rbring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the $ _8 |2 D& q# Y4 A9 o" H
two days of Orientation).
