information that will make your transition to the University community

of directional information.

Both days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening . |& a/ J4 ]6 i: w# L' s8 T
activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend
+ p/ w* c- q7 ~; g0 ca variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday + U E8 W/ v% i5 l
evening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in
. F" c; R" G* }+ N2 d' FHawrelak Park.

You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on
* C( y$ @4 r5 I7 m9 k9 m: x& ESeptember 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006, - \3 B9 y/ u- S0 g+ j5 x! f5 C+ \
and then continue to meet with for the entire year.! L/ Y$ L) @- h/ X
# c( i, {1 j1 \2 S; }3 ?Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you ; t" k! P4 V3 b& X
to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from 9 C! Z, ^* W# Y7 Y, W
your faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your
) {/ U( f3 L& u. H7 A6 o/ @ Y8 ~ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
2 m; D4 c5 y* d1 e$ Wyour ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece
) E& x/ p' g5 _2 B7 Kof government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus 8 Z# x$ q( X9 O0 s; H' n- N* I
Computing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic
9 c! {3 h0 U: F0 r+ r6 L7 kInformation and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and - Q$ X+ V/ S; t4 K C0 j
bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the
