(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By
' A- f' l6 E/ U- r0 _8 mattending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of

Orientation 2006 will be held on Monday, September 4th and Tuesday,

to find your check in location all by yourself, there will be hundreds 8 @! z ^" D% ?
of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically 5 S" q N1 Z ?1 W$ ~
look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth
" ~& B4 S/ G- h" X6 Tof directional information.

Both days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening
) X( U$ ^4 p6 iactivities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend ! N1 f$ W! }+ D3 F. z" ~* y
a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday 0 |- y) V, g6 H; H# n- @5 \
evening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in
' o, t8 x$ \$ i. wHawrelak Park./ w, T( s# j) \4 @
! w. D, f) S! kYou will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on
' W; O( o% |8 @$ y A: b {% ISeptember 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006, 7 l3 X3 g4 u% H
and then continue to meet with for the entire year.
( v w$ k% l E: o' t* d! S6 Y5 D1 l+ e
7 B! C, `( F' aBoth MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you ' Z' R: `/ d) z& ]
to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from ) _5 ~9 Q5 O, k( E
your faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your
/ c$ |3 y M0 K# mONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
" }1 l& M5 ~3 n) K( S+ Wyour ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece
% _6 S/ ^8 j2 Y3 Wof government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
# X+ t: Q* [, Y0 a8 L0 Q5 XComputing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic
, J1 o. F" F' l; g6 ?Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and
; j3 w4 n0 \4 `% t, fbring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the
; c+ n' `# o# f% }9 {two days of Orientation).
