Alberta's Orientation program is now confirmed. In addition, we would

(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By % L: {- H7 w! m9 z2 S
attending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of $ u, T1 k2 H: w& Z" P/ r! D
information that will make your transition to the University community ) `& V. w. P" k

Orientation 2006 will be held on Monday, September 4th and Tuesday,

Both days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening
" n: l c! ~; }- H. N+ Iactivities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend - {4 [0 R, i6 K' w
a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday

; z0 H$ U$ t. ~/ [; m9 s% tYou will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on
, e+ U* c7 c) P: Z' M! J$ RSeptember 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006, $ B9 N* d, u( u* b ~
and then continue to meet with for the entire year.' T! w$ h9 V( ?$ z0 q

Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you
; @3 x( s! T5 A ^5 g: w) tto get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from
( X4 u. u1 S3 Y; a% X5 x, Wyour faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your 0 j% r- s$ f; r6 V3 A
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process 9 p% j6 r. ~- d9 w. V4 v# S
your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece
. p# h& P$ L' d m2 yof government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
* C' f( E* N) ~1 ^( l0 d' |Computing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic 9 v* V' p" N! J
Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and
5 ?' R- y+ H! d6 U, z# ?$ b6 ^bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the
6 u, I! F2 I1 k; h7 s) rtwo days of Orientation).
