Orientation 2006 will be held on Monday, September 4th and Tuesday, + \7 h6 e [/ Z) a

If you are unfamiliar with campus you can visit

of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically

Both days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening ( i+ x' D2 l0 k6 Y, {& a
activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend
4 y7 \/ T T3 _0 t3 M9 @a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday 4 Z r: Q; \! o9 n2 _2 S; U
evening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in / o& E4 R" T" M/ s( u
Hawrelak Park.

. N3 |' [4 I( ~% \8 J4 {You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on
. k0 ]7 \/ ?! {September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006,

Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you ! l) c5 ^; D/ }* H) C
to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from ! i1 S& G' @; z8 k1 b
your faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your
. x r5 B( p5 @8 f+ }6 lONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
* u3 E- B4 N8 c2 s4 v& [your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece
9 ~! d, ]5 V2 K) z; N+ f0 @/ mof government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus 8 o& t1 Z* e( K
Computing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic * l( e5 k# I3 \0 Z
Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and
4 Z6 t/ }' P% R, B/ x. G9 Kbring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the . X8 ?6 M7 s* D' S1 `; n
two days of Orientation).
