If you are unfamiliar with campus you can visit

look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth

' Q; i2 I6 X8 i$ z* q+ zBoth days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening
* X2 N7 c: L* J1 Y" Tactivities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend
( a7 S5 C; w1 i. a% F. Ra variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday ; W5 j0 j- d' w8 v! k
evening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in ' p& V6 o1 _. F9 k; E# ?: x7 D

You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on
w9 G* w; O5 I* g" V1 n7 U6 o( VSeptember 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006,
! F) u( L1 ]6 y9 y& C7 @1 Uand then continue to meet with for the entire year.

Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you
N% R: P7 O! V7 O- z3 kto get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from
. }; ]: ?- ~$ \your faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your & I% ?: }- ^+ V' ^2 Q: q ^
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
9 }( r6 A9 z& b$ }' i: oyour ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece : I* ^; P0 M: @ P3 u) D6 H, k- t
of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus 8 |/ V6 x" n4 \1 K$ A2 H
Computing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic 6 I7 n2 `3 Q8 c8 o! m: ~' d) D
Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and ) r6 C7 D8 Q A8 C
bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the # i o$ i3 D! B7 a! S
two days of Orientation).
