If you are unfamiliar with campus you can visit

of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically 2 l0 I4 w* i7 o
look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth
9 f0 E$ b9 Y* t; Jof directional information.- }& _( i- t/ A. W

Both days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening 3 g; r6 j7 g, n+ {* L- @# E
activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend 3 } W+ ^' x- \$ h$ o
a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday 1 \& I/ i) A% p5 Z; \
evening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in
* F" D+ y7 h' N* QHawrelak Park.

You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on 5 d4 C/ i8 E! y; v
September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006, # o/ j, j: L4 G) o3 A* O* b
and then continue to meet with for the entire year.- [0 T* z1 K- }2 h: i, a7 h

Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you , E+ t' u0 G) {: U5 W
to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from + d1 v8 {: l, G$ ^
your faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your
) _* f- p0 Q* o* i; PONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process ( \( a1 O3 z3 F/ v5 p8 ]
your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece ) D3 o+ ^ K# l( R* R# d
of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus 1 B' {- ]0 V. o7 ~0 h: `
Computing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic
6 U9 j2 G( x5 qInformation and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and 3 t7 e. w8 s: U) \" S! l( V: _
bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the
; o4 v" _$ r7 Y$ _two days of Orientation).
