Alberta's Orientation program is now confirmed. In addition, we would & E. M2 O/ r9 c& W
like to thank you for your interest in the My Undergraduate Groups + {0 \& C9 L* W7 {4 S& @/ m& H
(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By ' C6 v1 M# C0 ^' X' V
attending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of 9 N' {# a; n, _+ q
information that will make your transition to the University community

/ q: {/ [2 ^' t& X' Hlook for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth

' {. Z+ t' l- d& L% a# IBoth days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening
' }! M, M' z) C) p8 nactivities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend ! S/ S, i+ r' [0 R
a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday : i+ S/ x! x1 R* a
evening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in ; [" n2 ~; V$ o5 E! G: j

% J: i9 Q+ ?9 o$ C4 M+ YYou will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on + T6 G) z- s; j; }7 _0 y
September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006, , `# g! {( d" B4 e! Y+ G/ W; _
and then continue to meet with for the entire year.

Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you
$ S& g; N) g# r: D8 e* k( C& O* Tto get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from
2 T# U' d) D6 Nyour faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your
! U. {6 P& G, i' U. JONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process 5 B. o0 u9 Z: S6 x6 _( K
your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece 3 c/ A; X( V# B$ V0 d/ Q: W) b7 G
of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
5 K2 J) [. y9 F) nComputing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic
, J/ X) a5 C+ }0 Z% z% C, b& xInformation and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and " h5 s% L3 |& k& U
bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the / Y& p/ x t W9 A! v7 k
two days of Orientation).
