Orientation 2006: The Action Starts Here! Your registration in the University of

like to thank you for your interest in the My Undergraduate Groups ; R5 a4 K1 [* Q9 X6 O
(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By
% b# _0 s1 b4 Q* Q( b6 k" Q3 vattending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of
7 r& m1 y- G3 p4 [, I) i. J9 q7 M+ dinformation that will make your transition to the University community

Orientation 2006 will be held on Monday, September 4th and Tuesday,

look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth

Both days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening 0 j1 O7 `6 ^) s3 S$ `: }1 ^
activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend 4 Q$ P: v# B2 S9 ~2 g+ g l
a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday

5 a9 Q3 E6 r: U! Z- Q5 W7 U7 j, BYou will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on
3 n6 P0 f* V: o# y \ d1 Y1 N r# iSeptember 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006,
2 Z4 d' C2 L0 k0 b) m2 ]and then continue to meet with for the entire year.4 I, j% K( A; o
]/ Z0 c/ s8 H0 S6 `+ YBoth MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you
" G. i. M. U1 O W1 C" \0 ]to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from
: U; L! b' B5 r$ `* ]4 Y# jyour faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your 5 o6 {. V1 b5 p/ C
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
; Q, F3 j9 L) {! i# q/ myour ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece
4 @& b" v: Q6 fof government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
+ ?. o( k6 ^* A7 T6 N7 iComputing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic 5 V9 c) _$ \2 \3 q' w% ?0 o
Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and 0 `& l' _* V3 @& r
bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the
