(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By ' ]0 l% n% X4 I9 O( t
attending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of
; n! ~# P8 o% V$ ^1 n, cinformation that will make your transition to the University community $ j/ d3 q$ o7 Q: L" c
more successful.

If you are unfamiliar with campus you can visit
6 z2 R! [; B& B8 `5 ]& I. `www.campusmap.ualberta.ca to find your check in location. However, don't worry about having
# n% F# b+ ?7 z) N" D9 r& rto find your check in location all by yourself, there will be hundreds $ U1 Y, M F% e/ y+ E& w$ h, ~- g
of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically ' e+ [; V( O/ N) f+ x! M: c$ A) T
look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth
7 `3 T1 S7 x Q6 Sof directional information.

Both days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening
2 n( F! }! G4 U: T( v' iactivities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend
: U8 x& p! F! m9 Z9 F5 j \- ~a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday
, ~. ~. b0 z+ i' G- mevening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in 4 Y% h4 x: k7 r0 Q! y Z" y

You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on + d/ M. o, {. ~: ` D
September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006,
- f% b8 L$ o- N* N1 nand then continue to meet with for the entire year.& T9 r) ]6 F; C+ ~/ R

Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you
4 ~' N4 L2 U8 ?" L1 v5 ? Qto get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from
2 D# f% ?4 ]) I7 Uyour faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your
2 t; Z/ K( ]9 T) j: OONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process * z6 ~& g9 Y0 e0 U$ J
your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece ; d" P# S8 P/ ]$ g+ E2 B) e, M
of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
. O! {# P3 J) `- x. d# iComputing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic
* A$ ^* E% @1 S$ [Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and
9 _* |! X" o% U! s2 |$ t% ]bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the
, C. c1 s" C8 R! s, o2 P( T3 ]0 O0 \3 etwo days of Orientation).2 ^9 a& J# E2 M4 k
