to find your check in location all by yourself, there will be hundreds
* k, i' O6 l3 Dof volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically , d9 s8 r9 C7 E! D7 F- T" K3 N" {) d
look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth ( y/ Q9 q* X, d7 r
of directional information.0 Z# i" \/ t( q" x: F" W: m
" ^& t% v* ?9 @+ A) JBoth days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening
9 e+ d4 O1 K) Z: N# a3 \9 Tactivities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend $ q4 p, H/ B& E+ Q/ H0 g
a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday
" n0 Z3 O- p2 Uevening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in ) {% J7 O" ?5 _- P0 n( h

5 L9 L4 p; N8 z8 bYou will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on ' y3 z; h# E$ O: K6 U( b m
September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006,
( M, w$ A* l6 Fand then continue to meet with for the entire year.
) C+ ^0 a' m- b! U* v4 D- y& k& C# e. t0 L+ M5 P
Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you
( h' s( N1 Y/ x; X1 lto get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from
' ?: U6 V' z. myour faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your
4 S1 K2 f0 I3 B. t% N4 F3 ?/ [* UONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process ! q- q5 R& \4 P
your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece " y( z' _" f+ K2 ]" r+ ^- e
of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
& V9 {7 B8 G/ c9 P) _9 U2 TComputing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic
8 j' Z H/ Q$ y- M! aInformation and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and 1 ~! w) }& L& ^5 K; k
bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the 2 j! O! |. k4 M" V
two days of Orientation).+ d* X" a4 f7 }" K- K, \* d
