(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By . X v! I5 d3 |: T' f' l& ^
attending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of
# A2 t3 V6 }& h4 minformation that will make your transition to the University community

Orientation 2006 will be held on Monday, September 4th and Tuesday,

in location is T B 105 in the Henry Marshall Tory Building, which can + p) ? M1 {6 w. X" o
be found south of Saskatchewan Drive, west of HUB.

of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically

of directional information.

Both days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening - v1 R1 m0 }* O1 e+ J, u6 ^7 a7 i6 g1 ]
activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend ' M" p. f4 [* Q
a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday , e R( m5 R6 `$ Y( {) s/ x
evening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in
8 k! h/ i) {: [Hawrelak Park.

% s# g% }5 v9 ~4 pYou will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on ) u4 z" n& w3 Y, d2 u
September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006, ( |6 F0 T# h! R+ w
and then continue to meet with for the entire year.

9 _; N- N% h( Q0 Y( IBoth MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you
/ b: f8 T- ^7 \1 `) }to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from / }6 O4 S2 O4 {- x& b7 s( A& i r
your faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your
T8 c8 R4 Q, W, }5 W, V3 d: x$ ~% sONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process 0 t4 T( W Q: r& @3 j8 R
your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece ! l% l, g& d4 \1 f6 ~: h+ w+ W1 t( o
of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
0 ^: e1 }! Q5 `% CComputing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic , ~8 c& k4 `. \& {' X* i
Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and
; i* R0 ^, e7 k, Xbring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the # L7 O* [1 P' k7 W
two days of Orientation).4 G# a7 L% R; m. `1 _6 z
