(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By # z9 x0 A- n& U- Z
attending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of

more successful.

Orientation 2006 will be held on Monday, September 4th and Tuesday,

7 T2 @; X' g2 J% |to find your check in location all by yourself, there will be hundreds 8 l3 c# p" s- o$ a% O
of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically 7 H9 k7 x; w! I$ {
look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth 6 p+ }& m- s" {4 N/ u+ o5 F o
of directional information.8 O* [2 [- a! ^8 f# ^* a
: d, ?+ H7 y1 ]8 O2 H! p" bBoth days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening ( M# U* `" J: n; t/ f% J
activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend
$ ]; I/ D9 Q7 Z; w8 Ra variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday , P9 d: u6 K" X0 |. ?( q) c
evening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in 0 |6 z$ @ S0 c6 b" x* q& z
Hawrelak Park.

You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on - @" m V2 H0 } ]' c& ^! D- ` g
September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006, & S9 P0 P0 [8 d
and then continue to meet with for the entire year.

Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you
: \: Y" c' \; {: H7 Mto get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from
. m( H& X2 o* d- V" dyour faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your : _4 H; X9 @+ A2 r$ `
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process 4 a( u2 x- A; i) \; e- c
your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece
4 H& W" z* R; J3 o. p& H( o4 q3 Mof government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
" W; e+ W& u/ k# ~/ `8 w7 N% DComputing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic
8 @/ t- B( ]& F; h2 B; h1 jInformation and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and . w: i5 `8 a; w, _1 n
bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the 8 p1 i- c5 [$ w& ^! ^" S; ]/ p
two days of Orientation).$ \ o$ m9 O. F% H# ]8 z) |( x
