attending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of

If you are unfamiliar with campus you can visit
/ z/ ?+ M' M5 X, e1 D: ^www.campusmap.ualberta.ca to find your check in location. However, don't worry about having 4 x; k8 g: z/ c7 u
to find your check in location all by yourself, there will be hundreds ; F$ t& r' W; o/ Z
of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically
( n$ E' U7 G c, V: Ulook for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth
* o2 W+ U2 k1 }7 L# ?* a3 ?of directional information.( l* Y# m. b& m) X! n$ @
! d; K4 w, d. v& \8 Y- YBoth days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening . }* n8 r7 [4 z6 X1 ~1 l" _/ `5 _1 o, [
activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend - z5 |* N2 I: e* i6 R# t
a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday % N! N' f( U7 t! F: F( I Q v! H
evening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in / t" v* @1 N7 u' t9 B# @
Hawrelak Park.

You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on , K8 G' [! j* z% W; E' _1 x6 K
September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006, , M( H B0 T" v3 s; B
and then continue to meet with for the entire year.

2 A- v" Z" K3 Q3 O6 h4 `5 N+ S; vBoth MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you
7 a( [1 v( M+ `- d. L: o/ Qto get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from
: _5 M2 _' L+ v! Syour faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your % p2 ?! m8 @- j' J2 {' r7 [
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process # i0 m7 J+ r9 p3 y
your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece # y0 a- _4 i- {3 }( n8 y8 ^! \
of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
- f2 r! Y: R+ H1 T# U; \Computing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic
' k6 _" Q' G" |( ^* kInformation and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and * [) S) m" \* @5 o7 h2 m1 T
bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the
+ N) j6 [# s- k: e& itwo days of Orientation).+ N! y' O: ]" h5 r. p v* V6 t
