Orientation 2006: The Action Starts Here! Your registration in the University of

(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By
4 l G* r! U9 r: Mattending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of
4 C* u; o! \; z9 ninformation that will make your transition to the University community . X6 I9 Z9 x% n: ^

look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth

Both days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening 9 `7 P$ P0 f, T4 q" b9 B# x
activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend 6 @% a7 L4 J9 V5 ]
a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday
) P5 O P; \) gevening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in

September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006,
& Y7 L/ Y# b+ a' Tand then continue to meet with for the entire year.* M: y/ A! N+ ]2 J( Y$ G( h

Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you
* S- D; ~8 ~& {$ I" L2 N/ M* gto get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from
% p' C- W0 c s( f1 a. D& N% i; t8 Pyour faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your
- f3 G" ]8 t' v( BONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process N& p2 I5 a' K2 m) G
your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece / p& O0 M) Y* W0 `$ K
of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
$ e( [$ P# s( {$ _Computing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic k$ B, n k& d# b+ g# B5 \- W
Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and & W( x# g" q8 `, g8 U: m, M" j
bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the
