Orientation 2006: The Action Starts Here! Your registration in the University of

(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By # r: t8 e7 a$ r6 y& d6 z
attending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of 1 o0 a7 D! h+ W
information that will make your transition to the University community

Both days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening
) M" I2 F1 ~- E0 w: L' factivities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend 1 E# \* y# r. l- a( @
a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday
7 C, a% m, \7 `( h. J% E6 a4 Yevening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in # y) s2 K. s" M H4 l7 Y
Hawrelak Park.

You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on
$ u4 ^* `7 w6 ^0 n) z5 w9 MSeptember 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006,
2 @" J8 Z/ ~8 C3 X+ P2 Sand then continue to meet with for the entire year.+ P8 d& v7 A1 a6 }; H
. \1 L; B& {, w5 R- tBoth MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you + L0 k0 S2 a* {0 B
to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from " H# }1 u: K, R x
your faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your ( t5 j) g4 J9 f
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
+ l* ?) b. R! t/ v; p$ H( u" u2 ]your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece
) \8 G R# z |of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
! o* ]4 ]/ O$ a' U6 P8 Y- F4 Y4 xComputing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic 7 [. ^# H: C& z- ]; F7 E: j$ v
Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and ) S, ^$ C% g. p0 c/ J
bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the
