(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By

If you are unfamiliar with campus you can visit & u0 {3 A+ C2 l0 e

# O# {6 o' m; yto find your check in location all by yourself, there will be hundreds 3 H5 H! d5 C: q
of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically
& q8 ^9 Q1 V0 Z& c0 t0 K- Dlook for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth . v/ l ~, t2 t
of directional information.

" ]. H! \8 `9 F1 N( M1 Q7 f1 k1 CBoth days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening
' n5 f% G6 p) ]3 A4 M$ Eactivities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend
( }9 O! t; }1 R: o h5 da variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday : y$ X2 |( v; K2 |# V
evening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in

5 d, t5 L. c* I8 c$ V* LYou will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on " r% ^* \0 ]" L& @7 p8 a- b: o) l
September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006,
* a3 ?8 W5 b( J# f! ?and then continue to meet with for the entire year.2 }' b% M2 c5 n: S8 o
% i9 j4 P- P7 } H$ ]1 p9 h# @: jBoth MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you
% |3 V7 d+ U c" S5 W/ e! Kto get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from
$ u9 e9 F7 h$ D' m# nyour faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your
- B/ R% V7 z; b2 K7 c% N+ ^ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
) i% M' k2 ]1 _: L, ?+ ^- b9 V9 vyour ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece 3 _* u$ T" M1 p. H) u
of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
# b/ W3 g; O7 o5 E/ {Computing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic
+ h# R s) ~1 F6 `# j: {Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and
! @9 Y* t8 L9 s ?bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the 6 M% a6 H$ h9 f$ ]( o) G' P
two days of Orientation).
