information that will make your transition to the University community

of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically

Both days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening . z) w) Z) v9 v' u2 i5 v/ b
activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend : O0 b+ G* a4 w {
a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday
/ Q, F$ [; q' l) H# G& e8 @evening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in 2 h7 p' A$ f. A) O+ N

You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on 7 _" F3 [; p5 r+ E/ C
September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006, c8 E# \" F. \0 w: O9 J3 e8 s
and then continue to meet with for the entire year.

/ D3 J4 h2 x% f0 H4 `1 [0 [Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you 7 n; i! _7 g! o5 V3 t5 i$ ~
to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from
5 M! D0 h* R( Q7 ]1 j. Uyour faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your , \" d: v' I. C1 Q4 u# l) M
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process $ C6 |" z2 U6 X
your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece 0 V7 j4 ?* L, H9 S! J
of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
0 ]) w0 K6 b' [0 y# {/ aComputing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic
9 O1 `5 y. m% M" L& a3 L1 k& oInformation and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and
6 @3 x7 y# C/ w" ~. m0 b6 n& Wbring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the % z0 V, {" }5 ]( s, o
two days of Orientation).
