(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By
. `5 ], ` @' c6 rattending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of

more successful.

If you are unfamiliar with campus you can visit & }7 F) }' Z' Z. f2 P! ~2 s# s

of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically 5 s' Q+ d- r0 |% }9 X/ U
look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth
' W! z9 U" J0 _, j" Sof directional information.9 L! y* G- V, `& n; r4 ?" m
' {7 T9 T! X x, G4 u) dBoth days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening
" _2 d, d7 X* c( dactivities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend # }. M. y7 ~5 j
a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday
9 g) Y6 f, T' z! _" T3 Vevening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in - I3 K/ V# ]; B Z6 [2 w

You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on 7 ?" ~3 U. Z1 S+ e
September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006,
2 Y% v' [. M+ w+ Uand then continue to meet with for the entire year.

Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you 3 A" Z. U4 s6 p7 E" E5 K: L' D
to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from 1 ?9 j+ p' O9 R4 D; X
your faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your
! H) p; v) ?+ E; N7 MONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process ) w* j2 y7 }' T/ ]8 _
your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece & H2 S! Z& {, w
of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
7 D8 d( h$ b* J$ F- z0 }; ^+ f' LComputing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic
' R* o! R& P) T: m5 J- FInformation and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and
5 s+ S, m& P) N4 G+ Sbring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the
! f2 b8 t- e0 y, g( j+ e v7 X# atwo days of Orientation). Y( ?* c5 w" A0 C* m& B, p: m
