information that will make your transition to the University community ( p* @) P% B6 Z' T
more successful.

6 H# x2 Q' H0 d* C$ [Both days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening
- S8 Z) U1 q9 F2 A; Mactivities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend
J ^6 }+ V9 Aa variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday
% A, Y, i5 w7 Y8 i$ p: z w& pevening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in * }! c7 ~4 m! p0 o% Y5 O

You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on
* ~% F, X9 L$ }- g5 d, X) e% _September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006,
/ \" _! s9 ]- I# C& I2 cand then continue to meet with for the entire year.% n. t: D2 v9 @: U

Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you 7 u: O& h5 J [9 y; E' \$ N/ k! T
to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from / I( D: c8 f0 v) T0 r& \
your faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your + B4 U9 o7 {3 b+ `
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
3 f4 i1 {- g* ~) c% o0 r+ Syour ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece
. @3 S9 l, Y! x' u8 w$ Oof government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus ) h9 P7 m8 S" c: S- X, V; Y6 _3 {4 r
Computing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic " y. R0 B7 F$ ]5 z$ c3 [
Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and $ Z# J7 c8 S1 X/ s" n
bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the
4 l6 I: b4 v5 G, G1 {! \two days of Orientation).
