5 e, b5 K' ]+ ]' l5 N% U(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By
+ L- @! R& r' d0 battending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of ; D. E1 F2 Y3 w9 V! j, P
information that will make your transition to the University community

to find your check in location all by yourself, there will be hundreds " Q' D! {/ V- m" y* n' o
of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically " n8 w) K* s# S* O
look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth
: _5 x8 J/ Q+ wof directional information.

Both days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening ' Q2 X$ ^8 i& \, h. u4 T8 D
activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend * K6 g7 n0 Z2 r# q9 C' c" }
a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday
- F3 {1 j9 P1 ~4 Bevening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in
3 V& Q. @+ t2 S8 E" xHawrelak Park.

You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on - o4 |2 a9 j" k/ [ ]! w( f/ w
September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006,
H5 i: z) L) P+ v) Rand then continue to meet with for the entire year.7 Q/ \# n1 L; s9 l1 ~, @# }. Q. L0 V

Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you
) Q ^ h8 L; @to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from / s; ?/ M* u/ p0 ]( I! h$ X1 l
your faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your 9 U) T1 E7 O* @* d
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
7 j2 p, J+ _+ X3 v3 l, n4 K) P, x9 Ryour ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece ) j- @- q$ d+ M4 Y2 {
of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
5 p) O1 O; v# Q) ` g2 ?Computing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic # `4 J( T+ G6 N
Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and
* Y+ Q2 q! ^6 J/ C! ~! J8 h! Dbring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the 3 N1 T0 T4 B( W; R4 p
two days of Orientation).
