like to thank you for your interest in the My Undergraduate Groups ) L5 k3 N( Z) v
(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By 6 N3 q8 |% Y Y( I w. X
attending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of
; m& \# R! v0 Q% ? b7 `information that will make your transition to the University community

Orientation 2006 will be held on Monday, September 4th and Tuesday,

If you are unfamiliar with campus you can visit 3 l, V; S! [9 x
www.campusmap.ualberta.ca to find your check in location. However, don't worry about having
8 @2 d% `. ]/ L/ {2 nto find your check in location all by yourself, there will be hundreds , Z* F. H, B% _" g7 h+ K7 d
of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically
' ^- d8 k- j6 wlook for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth
/ D: V+ X1 k# e6 Fof directional information.

\# B I% V! _( y2 `6 nBoth days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening & A& T3 n3 \& S! B3 w! k* d" [ S: L
activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend
. a' d% n& A* L' P2 ea variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday # o8 v- J B& m
evening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in
) }# ?2 T" L( l' z; BHawrelak Park.
% B8 j* E& H7 X5 z5 f. n# h# W9 X/ b1 L8 [
You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on & D. L6 D4 |0 M, W1 i w
September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006,
5 }! n' R" m% w9 W5 ~$ w) fand then continue to meet with for the entire year.

Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you ' {. G* x4 |9 |, q7 T4 Y y
to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from - C X' P' X$ v+ z
your faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your / D, E. ?+ Q' i- o- j1 s
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process % t0 N2 M' W: U+ ~" @
your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece
0 S' |, N7 {8 Q4 i" \7 kof government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus , F: \) C7 }/ Y( l' k) D: h- q
Computing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic ; T$ D0 j! ]* ]
Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and 0 n' O( y6 {& ]0 v
bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the
