(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By
% n( _9 L# _- E. t& W8 ~attending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of

Orientation 2006 will be held on Monday, September 4th and Tuesday,

If you are unfamiliar with campus you can visit ' K* q6 a4 K8 y: l: j

to find your check in location all by yourself, there will be hundreds
; K3 {6 F/ S i% fof volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically - g1 H: R3 G. U) L: ]9 M; H
look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth
* ~- b1 r6 D4 zof directional information.' R' m1 }! Z; J$ \1 Z7 x
) p& j' H1 j, }+ f1 [! eBoth days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening " B$ K/ v* \# z, g" m* |3 Z$ h
activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend
; `" f* p4 x2 ]2 ?& U+ ~% k. k9 V/ Na variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday

You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on # [' z0 f/ L& B* O! m* m& R9 a! ?7 [
September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006, ' ]( u9 t: |2 P
and then continue to meet with for the entire year.1 J9 @/ R% B# Y' c& z5 l$ {

Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you
5 A! X' z; X* H | Jto get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from
. Q D7 p. h! _2 u$ byour faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your
' Q9 m u) @9 ~" ~ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
6 F# U! k) v/ R4 W8 dyour ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece
0 ^; c( A, C! ?% f$ oof government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
# `- V9 C6 D% b! O, SComputing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic
! L& ]+ {/ B3 MInformation and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and
2 M/ I! q& `0 J. Obring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the * _3 v, J: m. Z
two days of Orientation).7 Z& Z) d# p( P& G6 y6 j
