(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By

9 d; R" B) g+ }2 |( M1 Z6 ninformation that will make your transition to the University community 7 J' V0 [7 R! u0 F' V
more successful.

Orientation 2006 will be held on Monday, September 4th and Tuesday,

2 i. z N' w5 n* DBoth days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening ( ]8 s' ?: k& f1 @5 D0 J q5 i
activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend
3 u( C( Z" V& b' X/ z0 r2 |7 ja variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday 9 G: G, R6 Y, L+ I
evening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in

. \) g7 z7 b# T4 R7 _' B7 c/ P3 {You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on & A5 R9 c4 Q# {' @! ?5 j/ [7 ~* b8 D* ]
September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006,
& Y2 Y. ]7 k# p4 L. d! band then continue to meet with for the entire year.

+ [9 h- ~/ H& ~, p( ^Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you
" r; e3 w8 ?% t- \* }- |to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from
8 ?4 ]" ?7 S. E( Eyour faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your 2 @- m# y" L1 r3 |( d/ r
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
0 K* w& D$ _8 ~9 dyour ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece * `9 [4 d$ |3 o* j$ P1 u5 g' t0 w4 `% T
of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus ( o, ?# Q6 C$ J& U2 u" s
Computing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic
. \) [9 ?3 [9 mInformation and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and . M, \0 ]! }& N" V
bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the
! \, Z. N0 x* J8 }; ~% _two days of Orientation).5 o3 O3 Z: _, K. P* D
