' v# @8 u2 L4 O+ z4 }( @(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By 8 {1 M1 O4 S0 B& `1 M5 i
attending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of

Orientation 2006 will be held on Monday, September 4th and Tuesday,
& q% O, N/ m; Y' MSeptember 4th, 2006. Check in is at 9:30am on September 4th. Your check

be found south of Saskatchewan Drive, west of HUB.

of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically

of directional information.

+ P1 i' h, r ?0 w$ ~3 {Both days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening 5 o( _( E$ ]( h- i `! X: B0 s
activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend
2 m- b# B' }/ Q5 S: Ja variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday + o4 S9 X! {- X" {# L
evening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in
2 P3 k* y) U. v5 A( A+ xHawrelak Park.

7 y2 Q! u7 D1 W, j3 C2 X6 k, pYou will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on
& w B6 e7 z1 R3 D+ b+ JSeptember 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006,
" w& s0 M# y0 q+ J8 K gand then continue to meet with for the entire year.; O" T' t$ s' o& n- ?' Q

Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you * J7 l: v- c8 l! R, j
to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from g0 H1 Y; |$ n7 o7 z
your faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your
2 u3 g. r8 R M0 R8 b9 Z0 QONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process , q+ |7 E* l% T* v- M: s+ z5 z
your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece
( d! B: O v R. n4 z( Dof government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
4 f6 ^" X# Z+ y! ^! m/ N; yComputing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic * q$ j- j1 i+ P! R' |, E6 A' P
Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and 2 y/ i4 E9 T' k
bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the
) R5 o: i. t' Mtwo days of Orientation).
