Position Summary:
" _4 b* s  |# P+ N& h) g2 b7 F* iTo provide front-line customer service of Personal Lines policies and taking responsibility for the retention and account development of existing clients, quoting and placing new business as required.
+ j/ @0 M8 p. J1 h4 ^, v
Primary Objective/Duties of position:

    Servicing on-going client needs, advising on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommending solutions, answering inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals
. K3 I1 i6 f. A    Selling new policies/writing new business to existing or new clients, retaining existing book of business
    Quoting new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters and receiving walk-in clients
* ~4 _1 x' c+ B" v    Contacting Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy
    Preparing documentation for insurers, completing applications for clients, issuing insurance certificates, processing changes and reviewing renewals
6 f( ^$ P" u4 \9 s3 g    Keeping current on underwriting rules and workflow processes
    Actively participate in training initiatives
    Participate in community marketing initiatives

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

8 I4 o4 L. B' L  G* L    High School and or Post Secondary Education
    Previous customer service experience
3 T' K0 h! s' Y5 o3 K    Previous sales experience an asset
  H! y' k2 W1 d0 M) [    General Insurance License Level 1 or willing to obtain
    Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully
    Strong analytical and organizational skills
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    Excellent customer services skills and adept in conflict resolution
