Position Summary:
; y9 b J9 k9 f( _* K# j4 `$ X+ xTo provide front-line customer service of Personal Lines policies and taking responsibility for the retention and account development of existing clients, quoting and placing new business as required.

Primary Objective/Duties of position:

0 r& Z4 _1 y' S+ U Servicing on-going client needs, advising on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommending solutions, answering inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals
, X# T0 G2 _* \1 }9 T0 R# K Selling new policies/writing new business to existing or new clients, retaining existing book of business
6 h( J5 C- T, @- w8 L7 B Quoting new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters and receiving walk-in clients
m v8 Q/ j T" D! e! R/ ` Contacting Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy
7 \* d7 A x8 b/ N& H# }8 y Preparing documentation for insurers, completing applications for clients, issuing insurance certificates, processing changes and reviewing renewals
7 Y# H* \2 a! ^9 M' h! R$ G; G Keeping current on underwriting rules and workflow processes

Participate in community marketing initiatives

$ `5 [% g- H- E8 L. G* b# O6 }5 h High School and or Post Secondary Education/ ^# v+ E1 b x y: l$ c6 z3 h/ V
Previous customer service experience9 d, f8 ^* G# R- o* r% w
Previous sales experience an asset
h1 f% U4 T0 c n9 j% G% ~7 h General Insurance License Level 1 or willing to obtain( c1 L0 X) z% O+ `0 b j3 k) [8 ?* ?
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully
# K3 d4 `- R: d' z* m+ e Strong analytical and organizational skills
% i4 F" v& }. q6 q& x- o3 q, G Excellent verbal and written communication skills' i$ R# R7 @1 D; G% U
