Overall function of this position is to develop the East Asian customer base of the company. The purpose of the Business Development Rep is to drive new business in his/her territory, while maintaining profitable sales3 |' @8 J) M: g3 j$ C7 C

• To initiate, follow up on and negotiate opportunities with potential customers for the intended purpose of ‘signing’ them as new business. This is measured through in-store customer sales.

• To develop the customer base through cultivating leads & opportunities and be able to convert these into regular customers.

4 F9 R* \3 ]' h# s8 f% `3 s, y& i• To be accountable via daily sales call reporting in real time, measured against territory growth (non-tobacco store sales) vs. the previous year.

• To execute focused selling in a large territory targeting the food-service industry, maintenance calling on high volume KEY customers in foodservice, convenience stores, small businesses, clubs & organizations.! Y- N7 \' \, `3 G

• To execute the division’s promotional and marketing programs in conjunction with the overall business plan. Accountability via customer buying activity during the period measured through store sales.( `. J! I; M% j& j8 }7 M' B

• To manage all aspects of customer inquiries leading to regular store visits, including initial store tours. 

$ L9 s$ b7 u& A2 m• To develop customer relationships with gold level customer base and industry organizations.

• To build extensive product knowledge over various categories and be capable of driving sales in achieving sales & profit targets.

Job Qualifications
$ b) R0 {9 i# c% h) L9 G/ F( p" k• Ability to speak English and Cantonese or Mandarin 
. n ]0 y2 c5 u5 [7 \! `$ j& H& c
• Proven experience meeting aggressive sales targets.

( c, z- m& F% I• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience.
4 s, O9 q3 G0 i5 ~( U
• East Asian Food Service and/or Wholesale sales experience is desirable.

0 P% ~7 z* j4 w U0 o! M4 i2 R• Superior communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.8 [/ L7 {1 H! q$ v1 t/ |

• Travel within the assigned region.
