- S+ w2 b* b r- M•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services
+ d. Y& Z0 i3 M9 ?0 C•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies1 \! S7 x- g, b$ w2 w% e
•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting( f K# m7 T4 ~! e+ C) F& L
•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.4 ?* a, W9 ~ [
•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential3 N7 s( s' I& m& V
% M H. A8 x: K) d( K& W3 z' s KQualifications:
4 H0 L( E0 c2 W/ h•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;
" _8 n p2 ]. R& @/ |•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;- \" { B' k" K& ?
•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
' O1 n+ o+ z# p& U•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential
/ u# w8 |% i$ Z2 _1 g |+ {•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.
