•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services $ e a3 [6 F- Z6 j) t
•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies
5 p; N9 k! @+ w# i•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting
! B: c5 A+ Q( O8 w% j9 X•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.
8 o2 j, J+ b/ G. \1 u•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential

Qualifications:
; W" S$ r3 L1 b$ T•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;, G+ P* d# t; e4 g& H# o9 ?$ ^+ h
•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;
& j4 m% z6 |4 W7 N6 I" A•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
% i$ I' ~5 t& n- C•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential
