9 R' a! b# C: X+ kKey Responsibilities are as follows:
4 y" Z2 q6 \: x; j•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services . a& C" @! m( T; C, L1 o7 O
•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies
( s, F, E# H5 \4 R1 A' Y•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting
& Q; I- A: F3 J•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.
) Y( i7 V0 [/ x9 O i4 f! g' y•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential

1 J! [1 e$ v' [/ Q- I•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;
* M( w; U4 g# u* _2 Z a" k6 X( P8 v•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;
) H G$ n( I6 v5 J" p•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
. A, f, [- Q! o) r0 B, E5 V8 ]•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential
