% Z" Z8 c9 T2 m7 {Key Responsibilities are as follows:' y" J E- @0 _# ~% Y! i: A
•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services
5 Q% H- }) R, I•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies
7 C% Y+ @# R( R+ c•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting
4 `6 z! F# w: I•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.
, G# E) x9 H* `) V- c•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential

Qualifications:7 i D0 |- o5 ^7 t
•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;, l/ [9 [/ \% o+ s9 g/ U
•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;
; y# x3 }' j2 x•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;# C( z& }0 b4 \2 W% e" ^) n( |
•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential ( [8 }$ p# U6 E, Z! }' n& E# i: s
•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.
