Today Family Violence Help Centre is an innovative centre which operates with an integrated services model providing a single point of entry to comprehensive services for those impacted by family violence in Edmonton and area. The Today Family Violence Help Centre is part of a collaborative, coordinated community response.

0 c7 o7 N+ t& G: T2 ?We are currently looking for an experienced individual for the term position of Housing Support Worker to start immediately. As part of a team, the individual will be required to build a housing registry, develop relationships with community agencies that will address housing needs and coordination of housing services for individuals impacted by Family Violence.

, Y0 \7 X5 U7 h+ bThe ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications:
 Minimum post secondary degree or in progress of obtaining a degree.
 Two to three years front line experience in providing resources to clients with barriers or experience in programs providing housing to clients with barriers.
  d8 i* l* x8 d% D7 X' Z Experience in assisting clients who have barriers to accessing housing.
: }4 p4 w  m! M* n. b! L Commitment to work collaboratively with all constituent groups, including staff, program participants, and community agencies.
9 h- G- k$ r' E- B& I Demonstrated knowledge of community housing resources.
+ P( Z' y/ ^7 r Excellent computer skills, interpersonal and written communication skills.
 Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
 An understanding of family violence is an asset. The hourly rate is $18.00 - $20.00 per hour depending on the qualifications of
