Today Family Violence Help Centre is an innovative centre which operates with an integrated services model providing a single point of entry to comprehensive services for those impacted by family violence in Edmonton and area. The Today Family Violence Help Centre is part of a collaborative, coordinated community response.

) x' }# Q: x2 cWe are currently looking for an experienced individual for the term position of Housing Support Worker to start immediately. As part of a team, the individual will be required to build a housing registry, develop relationships with community agencies that will address housing needs and coordination of housing services for individuals impacted by Family Violence.

) x4 u. }& d8 G7 u1 Q7 o% DThe ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications:
9 a5 B) P$ [9 R7 w Minimum post secondary degree or in progress of obtaining a degree.
, \; k! P6 ^+ `% E9 T6 c4 U Two to three years front line experience in providing resources to clients with barriers or experience in programs providing housing to clients with barriers.
3 v- B8 n" U& B: N, O" d Experience in assisting clients who have barriers to accessing housing.
) {2 C& R. @! w# ]% z1 _ Commitment to work collaboratively with all constituent groups, including staff, program participants, and community agencies.
$ R$ L( m9 E0 k Demonstrated knowledge of community housing resources.
 Excellent computer skills, interpersonal and written communication skills.
2 n% a. \# r/ a" z Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
 An understanding of family violence is an asset. The hourly rate is $18.00 - $20.00 per hour depending on the qualifications of
