The College's Objects as follows under The Ontario College of Trades and Apprenticeship Act, 2009:

4. To develop, establish and maintain qualifications for membership in the College.

* L8 v6 k0 S5 |1 _14. To work with other governments in Canada and the Minister with respect to the interprovincial standards program for apprenticeship and with respect to qualifications required for trades.
