•        To minimize the costs of operation in the Front Office Department while maximizing revenues.
& L7 c: k9 q. I' N7 @, E- c•        Oversee hotel security requirements.
  d5 U  v7 `! T' H•        To recruit, train and develop Front Office personnel and provide direction, support, mentor and motivate as necessary.& C( \0 l- f) c
•        To maintain or exceed the established standards of operation. 5 `4 A  s7 T& X+ v' R
•        To ensure the assets of the Front Office Department are maintained and controlled in accordance with the standards and objectives of the Hotel.$ m( x# z! z# r! ^4 ]5 u' y
•        To communicate effectively with other Departments Heads to levels of business and type of business.
7 U$ \- L- _# x•        To ensure positive closure to any negative situation. Handling and resolving guest complaints and unwanted guests./ k& Z8 G$ }' E: _: {
•        Be able to work all shifts including night audit when business levels are warranted. I.e. working weekends, covering sick leave.. c- @7 |7 ^- j; @+ ^, _- ?
•        Weekly scheduling of the front desk staff.
( S$ u  i1 F  _5 c' a•        Manage rates on a daily basis for short and long term.
4 J& Z+ ^; G( y/ d( b: `4 }: x•        Perform 3 month and one year evaluations and/or when needed. 3 O% ~. h. i6 _
•        Leading and coaching to provide exceptional guest service. - a! ]7 T3 \" e; c
•        Ensuring the safety and well being of our guests and co-workers by having working knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures and that all front desk staff are also aware.6 R2 n/ U! n2 b1 [% X3 T7 V
•        Attend Cluster meetings.
% ?4 x, s$ E+ I: ]( v•        Complete month end report, ROB, Cluster calendar, tracking, forecasting, source of business and any other revenue related report.' {7 N# L# o" d. D4 v7 \. W
•        Handle PMS computer problems in each department
* G: \& a( S+ |6 l7 _•        Handle any issue with the 4 different interfaces : PBX call accounting, PBX messages, voice mail and movies) K) P& Z( H1 f/ D7 v3 l2 F
•        Handle any issues dealing with high speed internet in guest rooms or business center9 `8 x$ z* `5 X5 J, \1 `$ ]( ]
•        Maintaining front desk floats, and FOM float ' C, }8 U$ D8 ~; h+ K: r) @
•        Any other tasks assigned by the General Manager

# C7 I  T& Q* q$ _7 ^( S5 e; R. K•1-2 year of Management/ Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property3 p1 E5 \% b( K4 b  ?: i/ d
• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;- Z0 b! u: e  F0 R- X
• Ability to lead and develop;3 }6 k9 x  j5 P/ k; n1 a! z/ K8 P
• Background in the development & execution of business and operating budgets;9 W* J1 k. }! d, _$ S1 v) ?
• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;
& s5 A! B8 t. H, C• Ability to work within deadlines;# \' ~: @, G+ Y- g$ ^
• High level of creativity and innovation;( s5 e0 w5 L& j8 P! B3 U
• Proven ability to manage multi-tasked assignments;
