. r- b% N* Z- A" S; [* Y) j: GTo acquire and maintain a solid base of customers, attaining a high level of profitability for the property. You will be accountable for generating budgeted revenue through development and implementation of a sales & marketing strategy.

6 o. A2 D% n9 J; Q' a• Solicit new business: Locally Negotiated, leisure, association, tours, sports, group markets and incentive travel through planned personal calls, mail outs and telephone solicitations.& c- }4 e& V  X! q* P) M3 D7 @7 G
• Develop and execute annual Business Plan and Sales and Marketing plan to ensure top line revenues are achieved;
8 h- n$ V' O* `• Execute individual travel bookings, group bookings, small meetings and catering business;! H, G: J/ y6 H5 H. V6 W) k
• Provide professional leadership to the sales team with a strong focus on achieving budgeted revenues;% [& [/ Z/ {. |2 T4 F5 x
• Investigate/follow-up on all Sales leads maintaining an effective trace system in order to convert potential business, lapsed business and maximize on repeat business.
5 Y& c7 i8 h* ?3 V• As part of the hotel's sales team, assist in the creation, planning and organization of any in-house promotional efforts of the hotel;

• Participate in trade shows;. G/ F6 N" v8 M% J2 P6 Y
• Attend public relation functions; Participating in community and trade boards and committees on behalf of the hotel;
7 e& N: ?8 H& V• To participate in Revenue/Yield Management meetings; Increase Market Share;

•1-2 year of Sales or Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property

• Ability to lead and develop;

• Proven record of development of sales and marketing efforts;
