+ z" l. t5 f) S& I. x- V9 L& q, uTo acquire and maintain a solid base of customers, attaining a high level of profitability for the property. You will be accountable for generating budgeted revenue through development and implementation of a sales & marketing strategy.6 w) i8 L! l2 Z$ w& U

• Solicit new business: Locally Negotiated, leisure, association, tours, sports, group markets and incentive travel through planned personal calls, mail outs and telephone solicitations.
  P9 f" p, i' c5 y& ]: C* y• Develop and execute annual Business Plan and Sales and Marketing plan to ensure top line revenues are achieved;" y2 I; C) b' K, B5 M- J1 Q
• Execute individual travel bookings, group bookings, small meetings and catering business;
- p; g1 ^' E2 H! _• Provide professional leadership to the sales team with a strong focus on achieving budgeted revenues;
8 S3 |$ K/ M- y( t1 f• Investigate/follow-up on all Sales leads maintaining an effective trace system in order to convert potential business, lapsed business and maximize on repeat business.
9 X* ?* V9 x% ~) ^  {8 W' ?- I• As part of the hotel's sales team, assist in the creation, planning and organization of any in-house promotional efforts of the hotel;/ d) @8 D- U' N, D6 l9 ?7 M
• Work with National/Regional Sales initiatives;
2 ^6 Y# M4 U  B# O: i: s- P1 N• Participate in trade shows;7 i2 ~% C9 P: T7 z3 c
• Attend public relation functions; Participating in community and trade boards and committees on behalf of the hotel;! @; l6 M. R  ?3 m4 h
• To participate in Revenue/Yield Management meetings; Increase Market Share;7 \6 J' y# h0 A! _6 p
• Maintain close relationship with reservations and front office staff;
% D/ E$ G  X+ h5 J• Ensure top level delivery of expected guest service;

•1-2 year of Sales or Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
2 ~; v9 w4 s) J: Z• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;
! m/ C/ }( C' |2 d• Ability to lead and develop;
7 Z2 c+ w# T0 d5 W, g• Background in the development & execution of business, marketing and sales plans and operating budgets;% |) @9 `/ h: ^7 q" y4 F, l* z5 {0 e
• Proven record of development of sales and marketing efforts;% a8 r$ v5 @, w# F1 T
• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;, W8 ]1 v) Z8 [. f* m9 H
• Ability to work within deadlines;
