Hours of Work:  This position works 44 hours per week.
Days of work are Monday through Friday, Saturday rotation.

6 V" n' I% D& K9 HFull-time journeyman to maintain and repair an assortment of vehicles with emphasis placed on preventative maintenance.  
) N% x9 z# M/ p& m! h
Responsibilities include:

Diagnose problems and perform all types of repairs to a wide variety of speciality vehicles
Requisition parts and materials, as required.
" a8 ~; t4 N& [. a! UCreate and complete work orders, gather fleet information and input data into the computerized management system.
/ T$ }$ x1 k, X& t( L) pProvide specialized training and guidance to apprentice(s).
Access technical information using Snap-on Shop Key on-line automotive support program and communicate using e-mail.
# l# M: U, A$ COther assigned duties.

Qualifications:

Applicants must possess a valid Journeyman Automotive Mechanic certificate or equivalent recognized by Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training.
5 q  F. ~& d* ]" PApplicants also must have a valid Class 5 Driver's Licence (or provincial equivalent).
Preference will be given to those who have current experience diagnosing and repairing North American and/or foreign vehicles.

Only education obtained from an accredited institution will be recognized as meeting the minimum qualifications.
An enhanced security clearance will be conducted.
