·         Engineering 480V to 38kV switchgear

9 _' F8 d7 Q, H$ l. i2 r·         Engineering 2.4kV to 7.2kV Motor Control Centres including softstarters and autotransformer starters
- M" \- T# P$ _
·         Engineering fully integrated electrical buildings

·         Reviewing vendor drawings
, F+ j0 i" f) N4 k5 ?
·         Analyze customer drawings, specification and engineering notes in order to create a design that meets the customer’s needs.

' B! M0 l  F! \2 n8 i·         Create a scope of work by identifying the company’s agreed to obligation.

·         Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.

·         Assist project management and estimation with draft budget changes, based on customer design/scope changes.

7 Z! l0 T" x; s. {·         Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.

·         Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.

·         Registered with APEGGA as an Engineer in Training
& F& P  x" ]1 |# }
·         Attention to detail is a must

* H- e) x9 a% A( G/ U8 U·         Experience using AutoCAD is an asset

9 q+ \3 w0 w0 y+ O% K·         Experience with Microsoft Office is an asset

·         Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.

·         Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

! |4 F! x4 W, d·         Ability to manage the engineering of multiple projects simultaneously

' V: Y1 ^" X' d, p5 v  R·         Strong written and oral communication skills.

·         Strong interpersonal skills.

·         Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.

·         Possess a Class 5 driver’s license

Work Conditions

# N1 M+ ~( G6 w3 `; b2 BOvertime may be required to meet project deadlines.

Some travel may be required for the purpose of meeting with clients, stakeholders, or off-site personnel/management.
