Development Announcement?
: q2 z# Q: ?# ]I’m told it’s possible we’ll see an “in development” announcement sometime in 2012 for a large megapixel DSLR from Canon. I have heard both 39mp and 46mp prototype(s) are out in the field.+ B% r# C$ l9 z' h' L. f- m
- ?3 P) m; W! _6 B) HIn development announcements seem to be getting more popular with Canon and their high end products. As we’ve seen from the EOS-1D C and EF 200-400 f/4L IS 1.4X, it seems to allow them a lot of latitude in testing and helps with public relations. It also stops sites like this speculating on arrival of new products. :)4 M" W y1 e( k' O# m; b: i
