Position Title: Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker. {3 f' l" g3 M( @! r. U/ O/ a7 H) r

Anticipated Start Date: The candidate is required to work immediately

6 T$ P; k8 i: {8 c9 q0 uPosition Summary: Within the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, and Alberta Employment and Immigration, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker.

• Answer incoming calls and route calls to appropriate person
$ c2 @& b0 i; g" _ ^• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST
( n1 y9 m/ w" ~- B# R• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately
0 l/ D+ f8 [$ j$ [1 x• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter& M H7 ?" A7 x" J2 b
• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents+ T* D2 D0 L% O* m: _! n2 ^- h6 a
• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker8 O4 d O. j3 f
• Maintain and update the information boards with upcoming events
5 B& C2 r8 R4 n% ?% [• Assist the ISP team in reminding clients to appointments of workshops or other events

• Attend meeting and training to stay current on immigrant settlement matters

• Perform general office duties as assigned) C( h. M7 u- S, j

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:; ?/ d) h; V) I. p2 g, Q" r5 A
• Excellent communication (verbal and listening) on phone and in person% K" |) j' o& X+ x8 f
• Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese as an asset
* k# S2 {7 n5 s) P) z• Good English writing and oral communication skills
0 ]) M- k. E8 L T: z• Ability to work with newcomers and general clients
+ W( V' |7 j9 r' p- R( s7 Z• Microsoft Office operation skills- Excel, Word, Outlook7 C7 {- i+ T9 M+ P) a9 ]$ Q
• Ability to address multi-task and set priority appropriately

Qualifications:
# T% ?" w& {. e f% F8 c, u; |• 2-4 years of office and clerical experience
8 u# z( N$ _; }3 V" t• Receptionist or customer service experience in a fast paced environment
$ d7 j9 G4 v7 {• Demonstrate workplace maturity and professionalism* O) q/ ?5 @9 {6 Z4 W
• Ability to work well under minimal supervision
