Key Responsibilities
- C! v( x+ K9 W! R, ^- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to provide services for Chinese community* w% C! a) C6 h
- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population access to mainstream services
. S' Y, z; i% m# }0 g* H- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of social services
h0 y6 Q8 X4 @; M# E9 J& s! V- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies8 `+ k$ I, f3 \$ \8 e" \" _- F
- coordinate good will activities
9 b { D8 j' f" ^. ]' U& t- coordinate and send out quarterly newsletter to members
$ o- `# H$ ?; y! l. g3 \- submit information for community news
) \7 U8 C2 h+ s/ e; P8 d5 m- prepare and send AGM information to members
4 f4 W5 A: W" [1 w( s- assist in special events coordinating: Open House, AGM, Volunteer Appreciation, etc.1 U2 B! _, }& B% u. `; h
- participate in ISP department and agency meetings/activities

- assist in writing proposal for ISP

- hold regular meetings with ISP team Y* x9 K# J+ m* D; V# q' v' _# ?
- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time

- degree in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of experience and education : i: g. A+ d O9 w5 Z
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
$ c& N, T# E. w% n- experience in community work and immigrant services
- |; m' K# x3 x3 P9 v+ i! D- ability to coordinate workshops and seminars
) S8 Q% z5 I' `7 a1 X/ _* v" r- leadership skills2 S" X1 V7 X% R/ J7 Q% q( m
- exceptional communication, interpersonal skills
