EARLY LEARNING FAMILY PROGRAM
RHYMES THAT BIND
/ `. }# O2 u+ z, w- e" c5 {The program will be offered at St. Teresa Catholic School every Tuesday for seven
weeks beginning March 6th and ending April 24th, 2012.
; j7 q4 I+ H) Y. P. S1 ~(No session March 27th, 2012)
Snack: 3:15pm to 3:45pm
) w* S. N: X4 R' m( a9 J" wRhymes that Bind: 3:45pm to 4:45pm
0 A9 w, T5 D$ ~$ B( K: j) RThis “drop-in” program introduces parents to various strategies that can support
/ K& |: H. |, N8 }their child’s early literacy and language experiences. It is recommended for
% m0 N. |0 ?7 {2 a- S5 n' qchildren that have been identified with language needs. RHYMES THAT BIND is an
oral family literacy program for parents and their children ages 0 – 6. It
encourages parents to sing, rhyme, talk and play with their children in a relaxed,
fun, and supportive environment.
Each family will receive a booklet of songs and rhymes at the last session. No
