Position:         Food Service Supervisor (NOC 6212)

Shifts:                 Rotational / day / night / weekends

Main duties:
( w  d1 [) Z) R; t•        Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food
# p' U4 [  N; B' h+ c•        Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
) p4 Q( z) p& A2 R6 i3 m* Q' d: T5 G•        Prepare food order summaries for chef according to requests from customers
•        Establish methods to meet work schedules
2 x% ]3 `, [0 f7 \, i! O- V•        Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
2 C4 _6 O: q* h- S: j5 S  M•        Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures

•        May participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets
•        May plan menus and determine related food and labour costs

4 s' D0 O+ `5 T: L! O! dJob Requirements:
•        Completion of secondary education is required
8 [: S! D" \( B- B! U: p•        2 years of experience in food preparation or service are required
•        Availability to work day, night and weekend shifts and “on call” requests are a must
•        Viable candidates must  have a suitable means to travel to and from work regardless of time of day
