- w8 \& V# f7 [) E6 g+ u•        Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food
•        Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
' C$ S. q3 D* j$ l+ e. F•        Prepare food order summaries for chef according to requests from customers
; W1 X3 z* M0 C1 b6 F& ^, R•        Establish methods to meet work schedules
" j- B8 s: C( ~0 ~5 X6 |•        Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
6 P8 Q( ^0 u* V* I* M7 q4 t) \•        Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
7 m& t; O4 d7 l  W" @$ ]•        Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
•        May participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets
•        May plan menus and determine related food and labour costs

$ Q$ ?; a/ s% ~" R( v•        Completion of secondary education is required
' x3 m5 ~) p" @: e0 S4 X•        2 years of experience in food preparation or service are required
•        Availability to work day, night and weekend shifts and “on call” requests are a must
; I0 [5 O) }: Z! |2 }  Y* |•        Viable candidates must  have a suitable means to travel to and from work regardless of time of day
