Effective August 1, 2002, Saskatchewan motorists will only have to report motor vehicle collisions to police if the collision involves:
# J0 v" M& K4 c0 Y' t; [1) Any bodily injury or death;
( T1 M& T9 s( z+ U8 Z2 J. S: w2) A Hit-and-Run;
$ _1 W9 J6 q$ E& I4 W* P3 L) Q3) A driver impaired by alcohol or drugs;# }, [" T4 k: r3 B" R6 M
4) A motor vehicle towed from the scene;# Y( K9 ?# y* w6 h
5) An out-of-province vehicle.$ X+ o( o: G4 r( m- y( [+ s4 k/ q9 @
2 t! v# \6 h2 ^$ o: pNormally, police would be dispatched to the collisions described above. One exception may be an owner's discovery that his/her vehicle has been damaged in a hit-and-run, but the vehicle can still be safely driven to Police Headquarters.
