Z H( F0 ?6 j; ^! ^Within the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker. # e. z% ^: ^" g f% [

• Answer incoming calls and route calls to appropriate person* a# C0 T7 p0 j' @, O0 y
• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST
2 c+ Q; n2 p. }' t/ x- [1 m• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately# y$ \+ ]8 j8 T1 Q
• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter
; K& J0 e9 H7 i2 H0 s• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents V: |& X3 v$ l+ T/ w, I( l# T! ~
• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker5 `0 S" g t0 ~- m7 x7 X
• Maintain and update the information boards with upcoming events3 H8 X2 a2 ~7 {0 x
• Assist the ISP team in reminding clients to appointments of workshops or other events

1 F/ D; v1 r, S3 Y2 B• Attend meeting and training to stay current on immigrant settlement matters+ J. M) l4 V3 I" O2 \# i" k
• Maintain front counter service files

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
9 S4 v: J E2 [4 G5 a C# P# Q9 r• Excellent communication (verbal and listening) on phone and in person
* M2 G5 S( H4 K8 X( s+ _- B• Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese as an asset
/ h- b6 }. A& R' \' Y• Good English writing and oral communication skills, r k1 M: z& s) _/ v. P
• Ability to work with newcomers and general clients
, {" [. c, M. p; \. ~• Microsoft Office operation skills- Excel, Word, Outlook

• 2-4 years of office and clerical experience / b9 [, [* Q* A, p+ C
• Receptionist or customer service experience in a fast paced environment! [; P# a& p: A" ]+ d2 @
• Demonstrate workplace maturity and professionalism5 r% j6 K" M* P
• Ability to work well under minimal supervision8 Q8 K5 p2 x/ ~3 S6 K
+ P) c- ?2 V+ X
