• Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
" g! |+ x6 o* N+ g2 T) g• Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
# z7 H- ?" x/ B! R+ f% ~7 v4 a• Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.
' K. Q8 {" x8 i• Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
9 T6 i1 B" N+ j3 v6 R• Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
/ k/ E, A: J1 n$ c8 n2 L• Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.2 @6 K9 E" ` o
• Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.4 |7 t* d* X9 I7 S2 Q# ?
• Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).

• Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.' v$ H0 {- E9 U/ }# g( T! h
• Attend and participate in departmental meetings.

• Additional special projects as required by the Human Resources Manager.

Qualifications
% L- D- \; J# k- L$ c YRequirements:
4 z S$ |, b7 I5 \• Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills. 5 j( `& P7 y/ B1 S/ X
• The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources. % E2 G5 z# p7 w* B8 _" q3 H! r
• Strong Union Relations experience required.
6 {& ~ L; w# J& B• Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
/ b; D! T6 [. v8 z/ C8 h6 w9 l. O• CHRP Designation is an asset.$ l) s0 r% s F7 T- m9 ]% m, o6 n
