Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:
! ?9 v. a3 S; Q: G6 z+ }6 Y3 q•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.
5 P/ Q- O) v& @•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
% n: M' S' k% h; d( M5 l! C  p•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.7 ?; b" h4 U# J! i6 {$ n0 o
•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.5 j3 B5 Z( d) @0 l7 A+ i% m
•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
2 M7 h5 ]) h* m7 C# m•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.) L* v6 s& {  W, z$ X$ |1 c2 L8 _$ W
•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.
/ _7 i) Z4 i. Y9 u$ ^+ Q1 l7 Y5 d2 R•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.
  x( [3 U7 L9 H( q3 ^* v•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
- ]' q- y4 K7 g•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.9 y# s9 |$ L  h2 p7 K  @
•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.) y* c8 U3 o) N  ?% i& `) z
•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.
9 W: P' C- i1 Y•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.+ e# g2 @5 x, ~* w! O5 ?
•        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
$ O7 R3 J+ U& Z: M, t•        Additional special projects as required by the Human Resources Manager.

+ x6 r+ V0 v: P" ~. X, q& \4 AQualifications8 ^5 U5 q% B" ^; N( B% q
Requirements:9 i1 e/ `/ z  K! ~4 F7 f
•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills. ! A- K" L1 {/ |  z4 Q
•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
* l% d% Y, d& T1 ]•        Strong Union Relations experience required.
0 v- y, C0 a  h, X& Z•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
, t8 t1 j! \) M) S+ Q•        CHRP Designation is an asset." O- |. j1 H1 ?3 }# ~) J* g6 s( d
