Tracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.3 x6 u5 g# ]2 q+ ^4 P3 g
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:
2 r. g' p8 J% j) S+ D! g9 N8 ~•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment." S. s# Z* r: k1 H* g  D5 ]
•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.# q7 o7 ~( s" {! M: i' W$ x
•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.( R! v5 g; P' I
•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.) }9 n. X$ n+ R9 g5 h
•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
: h: r# }# D  ]: p" ~  ]•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.* B+ m6 `/ t4 O2 g
•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.
1 j) a: k) p' G$ z5 F. h  i6 y4 z% k•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.* X% C: A, g  e3 b1 N- V
•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
4 k$ o0 W% U& w: i•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.
- S+ l2 v* i8 \& y6 q2 M•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.- {/ U7 _+ M# j: y( W
•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.
3 {2 Q: E' i8 F7 q•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.
$ I0 e: Z* o8 u3 l( I. P•        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.8 d3 m0 A& i+ d4 |5 Y
•        Additional special projects as required by the Human Resources Manager.: h$ p; |& w6 |+ H* D

Qualifications
  J0 C( m) V4 f4 m( |Requirements:
7 l( N% U: j9 S- q; [•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
. w# X4 ^: Y5 ?9 v: k% }•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources. 9 |& P; F7 w0 q/ L3 l. N3 i6 G8 w, o
•        Strong Union Relations experience required.
; h$ a. P, ?! [; r•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
