5 _6 g( T3 S* g9 E9 } t• Review damage report and estimates of repair cost and plan work to be performed5 ^6 ~/ g, a n
• Repair and replace front end components, body components, doors and frame and underbody components
5 d) N, e: V7 [4 L; P0 D• Hammer out dents, buckles and other defects using blocks and hammers a, _/ P n6 u. s. I1 g
• Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents and seams
4 V8 m/ w/ ^ ?7 d! G- w! j* E• Remove damaged fenders, panels and grills using wrenches and cutting torch and bolt or weld replacement parts into place: t) O! R) ^& L1 P& G/ Y
• Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment1 x, |" s( C0 j- w D7 `1 T( z
• File, grind and sand repaired body surfaces using hand and power tools
3 ^) [. d% N8 S/ e6 s/ g( E0 D% D• Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting
. w' P1 u; w8 c: N• Mix paint, blend and match colors

• Repair and replace glass components such as windshields, windows and sunroofs

Education and Experience Requirements:: ]; N, R9 e& r( O5 x
• Completion of secondary school is required2 d% @/ A4 h0 W6 t
• Completion of a three- to four-year motor vehicle body repair apprenticeship program

- C7 v3 e4 ]; a( _& lA combination of over three years of work experience in the motor vehicle body repair trade
