1 s. c \9 ^6 Y! ^7 k2 H• Review damage report and estimates of repair cost and plan work to be performed; D/ a* B9 X. Y5 j
• Repair and replace front end components, body components, doors and frame and underbody components
+ Q* N+ u/ u2 R9 x7 O2 h/ c1 w• Hammer out dents, buckles and other defects using blocks and hammers
, O4 o P3 v$ ^' m0 B/ z, s- h• Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents and seams0 g4 _5 d6 R: w4 j
• Remove damaged fenders, panels and grills using wrenches and cutting torch and bolt or weld replacement parts into place4 K1 Q# p" N% x! j8 i( g
• Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment
4 y$ L, v& Y1 c" @+ N4 Z• File, grind and sand repaired body surfaces using hand and power tools" c5 V O9 o+ l+ k" a
• Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting9 `* `" y1 \2 V( a# w+ q: ?
• Mix paint, blend and match colors
+ {2 v( O' ?. x6 h( R• Apply primers and repaint surfaces using brush or spray guns8 f! p, t# k: q) h# C8 z
• Repair and replace glass components such as windshields, windows and sunroofs
! J' V; Z, ^9 n: z I• Repair or replace interior components, such as seat frame assembly, carpets and floorboard insulation

Education and Experience Requirements: a/ d' n6 H& ]0 \) F; E
• Completion of secondary school is required" W4 A1 ?5 T5 T2 `
• Completion of a three- to four-year motor vehicle body repair apprenticeship program ' G; } F! H/ L/ O- ^4 i2 Z% ~
