5 _6 g( T3 S* g9 E9 }  t•        Review damage report and estimates of repair cost and plan work to be performed
•        Repair and replace front end components, body components, doors and frame and underbody components
5 d) N, e: V7 [4 L; P0 D•        Hammer out dents, buckles and other defects using blocks and hammers
•        Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents and seams
4 V8 m/ w/ ^  ?7 d! G- w! j* E•        Remove damaged fenders, panels and grills using wrenches and cutting torch and bolt or weld replacement parts into place
•        Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment
•        File, grind and sand repaired body surfaces using hand and power tools
3 ^) [. d% N8 S/ e6 s/ g( E0 D% D•        Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting
. w' P1 u; w8 c: N•        Mix paint, blend and match colors
3 b9 e( J+ s. `# m( z1 L) X4 U) T•        Apply primers and repaint surfaces using brush or spray guns
•        Repair and replace glass components such as windshields, windows and sunroofs
2 |5 h# ^. m. Y•        Repair or replace interior components, such as seat frame assembly, carpets and floorboard insulation
  l# d4 W' Y- O+ G' V0 E6 M1 ^•        Inspect repaired vehicles and test drive vehicles for proper handling
Education and Experience Requirements:
•        Completion of secondary school is required
•        Completion of a three- to four-year motor vehicle body repair apprenticeship program

- C7 v3 e4 ]; a( _& lA combination of over three years of work experience in the motor vehicle body repair trade
6 U* V/ ~$ w$ {0 F' e; x0 S$ u+ e3 O•        Alberta Trade certification for motor vehicle body repair (metal and paint) is compulsory
