Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.; S% c2 I* q7 m( }
Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities& w0 O2 n/ A2 U3 p
•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.2 R2 A6 C9 c/ g) \, K, D# r
•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
1 M- [3 R# u5 r9 J% B•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems' T, ^% M3 B$ _: _
o        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release8 e  y5 s0 Q8 O
•        Assist where needed in application questions.
2 W7 L* R% @/ _( F! }•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
: e. p2 o1 t6 \2 t. to        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures6 P) m$ \5 Z& j( Y2 o2 q$ ^
o        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
2 x3 j* q6 R0 t& t•        Track and report all warranty failures( X+ t3 H* X" H6 N1 _
o        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.2 ]7 P$ A( t, ?6 l
o        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.$ Y4 B' P6 z. W& F" p: s( n5 Z
•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
) j5 X3 x$ w0 D! J" y3 C7 s! Ko        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
! L0 U; v# [9 U1 y! mo        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.
; E9 ^6 s; a$ z& G/ mo        Assist in writing and new product specification
- p1 K# Q2 {1 ]; K0 g9 @o        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.

o        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
! R( [9 E4 Y3 E4 b" nList of Skills/Qualifications       
3 c6 \: Y. ?! W0 @  E3 D•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.7 z9 ~" B/ }# l8 h2 n

•        Proficient in software use and writing.
