The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
• Program implementation
6 }& t, Z  c6 |# c: R+ A• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
# \$ v& g7 Y+ q• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
$ u, w( A, f0 r, A* z6 B" ?2 S• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
4 Z( X5 l. Y5 |9 V: |) ]• Behavior management
• Medication Administration
2 o6 J* H. k" T# n• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:
: q1 b8 t" z! N2 b4 x9 vEducation
• Completion of a high school diploma
• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
' R- \0 V! X8 W* V. eTraining & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
9 D+ ]) y; y! S  I' {& ]• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
* p8 r. \+ h3 K0 Y, ~• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
# V; y; N9 z0 [2 q' A+ N• Standard First Aid with CPR
• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
6 A  H+ A0 b& ?, e- @) H• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training

• Experience with personal care
• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
