The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
6 T0 E2 d& G4 u1 c7 `# I• Program implementation
6 Z& ^1 K) l; V9 Z- S4 ~# Y" t• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
• Behavior management
" N6 _" S  B- p$ A; Y7 G% p( X• Medication Administration
: T+ ^. @9 z5 R% {• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

$ }6 C0 \" E, O  W/ e& DEducation
• Completion of a high school diploma
• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
: w( I0 q& x; {Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
/ u) c+ m% F4 h+ y• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
* [3 t' R$ s6 r6 ?; p. E• Standard First Aid with CPR
( S; G/ s. \0 G' [0 R+ D• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
5 l' K! e6 h2 f! x5 y3 v* F• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
• *Medication Administration

. c; l2 |! u) `5 ^8 Y• Good verbal and written communication skills
. O9 w& }( s7 M1 I• Experience with personal care
, k% j6 T# Z% z) `- N• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
; r* V* g2 o3 @) o1 F7 MSalary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
