The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

* W2 q1 Q/ p) IResponsibilities include:
* _. u, o+ C4 @" h• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
• Program implementation
: I8 t" V  a  a/ F. D" }+ W• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
5 c/ w1 A3 B! Z* d2 d, q& U. [1 F; ?• Behavior management
• Medication Administration
9 [" L" W7 z/ T9 ^# U• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:
Education
• Completion of a high school diploma
" l1 K. }% B: q+ _  M5 i• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
• Standard First Aid with CPR
• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training

• *Medication Administration

• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
Salary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
