The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

  h$ ]% R( u" q7 P. NResponsibilities include:
• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
• Program implementation
) G) N6 ~( ]) Q• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
; X! T% \, D  S3 B3 g• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
• Behavior management
8 v6 L7 ^: O8 \( q  j3 |# H5 u• Medication Administration
• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:
Education
, z, b3 f8 \0 Z" q• Completion of a high school diploma
( L% g: s4 R9 w  P• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
* _2 b$ [' r6 l8 Q$ O: W" d+ D7 e4 r0 f• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)

• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training

• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with personal care
