The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

1 p/ H4 l* g9 z2 o• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
• Program implementation
• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
' d, X  f# R2 Q, C• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
• Behavior management
• Medication Administration
; Y' u+ N0 ]* \# l  b• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:
Education
# P; x. u2 C! Z6 P• Completion of a high school diploma
8 O  Q# g2 J: `1 G4 }+ c" ]4 S) h• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
' G  t  I0 j8 w+ a: UTraining & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
. f/ z6 [. H# K3 R" N• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
8 l9 j$ ?1 a4 r, X3 t4 h' t, W• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
• Standard First Aid with CPR
4 m9 O/ u" ~% X2 e• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
• *Medication Administration

Skill Sets
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with personal care
• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
