Role/Function:6 w  d7 b& Y5 K# O) r  Q
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for responding to client inquiries both in, A) v& D( n9 d2 ]& L' v
person and over the telephone while supporting the sales team by building and maintaining
' C$ n' F, C$ Y6 U6 s2 l9 U0 xrelationships with existing customers. Integrity, vision, professionalism and the passion to meet) G/ m% D# i! g- o" |6 u2 a
client demands are key components of this position.
) I' L# O6 @" F/ @) l2 @9 bResponsibilities:
" L4 H7 y  X( _; ~1 F/ V4 y! o· Respond to customer inquiries through inbound calls and busy walk-in traffic;3 V& `) T5 [( R
· Verify pricing and availability of product;
7 }6 J1 U2 Q3 J# `· Supply and inform clients of pricing, credit terms as well as entering orders in system;
, e1 `7 i8 u; w- G· Prepare and process invoices in accordance with standard procedure;
% k7 u/ `  }/ ^7 _· Collect payments for cash account orders;
0 t8 {& `# T, y* }  U, @· Investigate and troubleshoot customer service issues;" b; \' z) _5 m* x/ J% B0 Z; B9 M
· Process special materials orders in accordance with standard procedures;, a* b& U5 r0 x% K1 _" H& W
· Maintain customer data and update changes to existing accounts in the corporate
/ C9 x, W3 `4 C: |database;
9 b7 u9 e" ]% @4 ^· Address client inquiries regarding status of orders, payment, refunds, etc;8 \* j, f, W7 R8 k
· Forward customer leads to appropriate sales personnel;
- N" }) B8 ~# J· Actively participate in semi-annual physical inventory count;
0 X+ |1 H* ^0 CQualifications/Requirements:7 h" l  [8 l$ p
· Strong team player with excellent customer service skills and able to build and maintain0 J) _& b' I8 E2 H3 _  B
lasting relationships with customers;" |. z% X& E) z$ d
· 3-5 years experience in a similar role;
% P% O! i9 d% I' `& N· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills;6 g: Q0 J0 u4 b4 B1 I
· Strong problem identification and resolution skills;3 U* C; p- r! _0 q
· Computer literate; knowledge of Oracle 12i database (an asset);
) {3 u# \7 x6 g7 o+ X8 O· Excellent organizational skills;7 m4 C9 _1 U" d8 c) j$ u8 b: ~
