1. It's cool:cool
(可指人或事物)也就是 something good or acceptable;situation is under control;being calm, gentle, courteous or good-looking;meet teen's standard.
% C5 X8 i1 A! s: z8 W8 j; x+ r3 j1 O* R1 h- @' n @
That's cool;he is cool;this is cool.
! q; N3 S9 ^4 V3 a, X# s, t+ A% y0 a) B E( T% T; u# K: A
Skydiving (或surfing) is cool.(跳伞或冲浪运动很不错); J \9 H. x0 W4 W8 b
2 U o9 t2 ]5 @5 T/ ` T$ E; m 主词可用任何人称的单复数 (I, we, they 等),动词可用 verb to be 的任何时态 (is, was, were, will be, have been等)。
+ m5 ~* q* B( }! v& u1 s! c$ ^" x1 ^; O# I7 }: ^
She (He) was cool in the past.4 F2 I* D4 N. {* r
\% F0 i# M$ \9 Z6 y3 m3 {

He (she) is a cool person.(文雅礼貌的人)
' x/ w5 y# B8 d2 V9 X8 i" L, K' ^5 r# O
但是如果说:Are you cool?
# |+ ?6 A$ w6 d! e
' `% k3 d& L( W: j4 N She looks as cool as a cucumber. 又是恭维语,是说她很 calm and charming; not

2. Are you trippin'?:trippin' 这个字,是由动词 trip 演变而来。(动词时态是:tripped, tripping)年轻人用省略符号 (apostrophe ) 代替 g,表示是 slang,或口头禅。这个字是现在分词当形容词用,是指行为异乎寻常,也许受到吸毒或喝酒的影响,而显得神魂颠倒、奇形怪状(to get high on drug such as LSD),也就是说:要不是受到药、酒的影响,你为什 显得这样古怪呢?(Are you under any influence of drug or alcoholic? Why are you so crazy and bizarre?) 所以可以说:) }. h4 a9 U7 _1 y" E ^/ E: {

1 E7 g8 J, M5 a% s/ H 3. He is a nerd:nerd (A person always buries his nose in books, but not good at social situations.) (IQ = Intelligence Quotient ; EQ = Emotional Quotient) nerd 可用复数,动词也能用其他时态。
1 g ]3 s& e( Y7 `, i3 H
: h& M) ~8 S( b2 A2 |) O1 K% U He used to be a nerd in high school.

. |& a" Q, W a3 i' Y2 L/ ? z
5 r! h7 ]+ j" }! X, R$ c, g I don't like him because he is a jerk.9 N9 l3 K6 a% F* _2 x

9 X0 E+ Y8 E% N, J9 M0 f% a# y" ~& I. r, p( _$ `
(He thinks she is pretty and attractive, so he wants to speak to her.),也就是找话题,想要「打开话匣」。(to use as a form of opening line or pick-up line or to begin a greeting; try to know her or date her) 如果说:
5 W- h/ K; K$ {" P+ E! }; _+ \/ Y/ y' |* H2 `5 \
Yo baby, are you trippin'?

May I help you with something? I think I have met you somewhere before.6 C3 b2 V( E, x$ F! V. c$ D9 n5 K
诸如:6 h/ B. V& E% |' P& M+ b1 G" O3 v
* r7 p1 W3 C% R+ t4 J- T
Hey, hey, hey, what's going on?“what is going on?”就是年轻黑人打招呼的用语 (a form of greeting or open statement) 或 Hey, hey, hey, are you going to the movie?(帅哥,你是去看电影吗?)$ T9 x0 `3 a! p. c
