Over last decade, I have used many window upgrade companies. Here are some of my suggestions:5 Z9 W& }. b0 a& i( ^$ H3 q; N
- You really need triple-pane windows ,not only for the sound proof, but for the Edmonton winter. The price is not much differnt from double-pane but the performance almost doubled;
- V2 w3 w- O- s, _; J- K8 z- I have tried many brands of windows, Hometech, Economic Windows, All-Weather windows, Jeldwen (by Home Depot). The best would be Hometech. All-weather is also good but the price is too high lately. I just had one big bay-window by Economic Windows in this April. Looks great but don't know how good for the real winter.$ w9 y `6 x. m Y
- Stay away from craps like Durabuilt or Sunrise Windows. Cheap stuff.
