1. It's cool.1 V% @* b7 a( S0 x4 i0 E% ?' ^

(可指人或事物)也就是 something good or acceptable;situation is under control;being calm, gentle, courteous or good-looking;meet teen's standard. M4 D$ {3 b5 ~2 C
    That's cool;he is cool;this is cool. 2 C+ ]: X* A7 k0 L! }
    Skydiving (或surfing) is cool.(跳伞或冲浪运动很不错)! Z9 e0 x8 x7 ]& z4 ^% y: H( L
  K1 E# K( i( V' h* t
主词可用任何人称的单复数 (I, we, they 等),动词可用 verb to be 的任何时态 (is, was, were, will be, have been等)。
    She (He) was cool in the past. 3 ?$ H5 {) }, ^4 e5 M9 I3 s  K1 p' C
    That's a cool T-shirt.(好看的运动衫) 2 r7 b: N' }: D
    He (she) is a cool person.(文雅礼貌的人)
8 g1 U& J+ Y- A. k; L% \+ ?9 H  r) f
但是如果说:Are you cool? ~% a1 h2 n5 @6 ~
    She looks as cool as a cucumber. 又是恭维语,是说她很 calm and charming; not 6 g; Z% [7 U( J; U$ e% H7 g3 d# H) q
    emotional.
) q1 R& n6 J5 r1 d6 n # c' `! e! p! J) V' U
2. Are you trippin'?
, k( |: |9 j$ _! x
这个字是现在分词当形容词用,是指行为异乎寻常,也许受到吸毒或喝酒的影响,而显得神魂颠倒、奇形怪状(to get high on drug such as LSD),也就是说:要不是受到药、酒的影响,你为什 显得这样古怪呢?(Are you under any influence of drug or alcoholic? Why are you so crazy and bizarre?)
- g5 z- X7 I5 h* q    They are trippin'. (= tripping)
1 R/ K) q( s, E5 x3 M    She (he) is trippin'.
7 G6 q7 n9 h# A* J; U! {Mr. A must be trippin'.
& t/ H' j# U( d/ E , Q4 d& x' ?5 r8 e* u& x# W/ n6 s; e
3. He is a nerd4 v6 e2 G% r4 P" m
; I+ ~3 B- t* z- T1 D
(A person always buries his nose in books, but not good at social situations.)
    He used to be a nerd in high school + c: v1 a: G+ V& A9 H. X7 X1 m2 W; G$ Z
4 F& R; i* N/ S) o; ~
4. Yo baby
: h) t# i$ ]4 U
(He thinks she is pretty and attractive, so he wants to speak to her.),也就是找话题,想要「打开话匣」。(to use as a form of opening line or pick-up line or to begin a greeting; try to know her or date her) 如果说: * t# |& c7 P" y+ Y) P
    Yo baby, are you trippin'?
May I help you with something? I think I have met you somewhere before. + S7 E" W( |( V: e  S, r
    Hey, hey, hey, what's going on?“what is going on?”就是年轻黑人打招呼的用语 (a form of greeting or open statement) 或 Hey, hey, hey, are you going to the movie?(帅哥,你是去看电影吗?) # y0 ]- j! _( F" D
/ R2 V- l4 F8 s# y! f; }
5. She is a ho& }) i5 j5 |2 M
. P" Y$ `+ d; G1 z
(a girl or woman gives sex freely without charge),也就是说:She is very loose. 或 She is a loose woman (girl)。
* Q4 K5 I0 D" W# X& p    They are (were) hos.
+ ]& ]9 y- p  k& w# B0 `- E9 E    There are quite a few hos in high schools. (a girl or woman is paid for sex.) " a+ W6 M0 k: e' ~9 D% N
2 d1 i* s0 ^6 G% ]9 F' V1 _) ^
6. Catch you later!* L  q, T: W  {

(a form to say“good乡bye”) 也就是说:现在没有时间与你交谈,以後再谈吧!(I don't have time to talk with you now, but we can talk later.) catch 後面,也可用其他人称代名词(him, her, them 等) % V' c) R+ I" i8 M4 `; Q) E
有时年轻小伙子也用:I am off. I am leaving now; I'll talk to you again. 0 g! V0 x% A3 \
