it's not difficult, but it's a lot of labour work.

you should always remove the old top layer for a number of reasons.

the old under layer can be removed or you can leave it in depanding on its condition. if you want to remove it, it's a lot of physical labour work.- C; f4 |3 i$ e

ultimately, you have to decide if you want a professional look and feel or some quick and dirty fix. mix and matching small patches of carpet can be an eye sore in a long run. |
